Micro jet homogenizerUsing ultra-high pressure microjet technology, the material is subjected to nanoscale processing by utilizing the high-speed shear, impact, cavitation and other forces generated by diamond interaction cavities. Typical application areas: pharmaceuticals (liposomes, nanomedicine delivery systems), biotechnology, conductive slurries, graphene dispersion, cosmetics, food.
A high-pressure homogenizer is a device in which materials are sucked in and pressurized by a plunger pump, and then enter a valve group with adjustable pressure under the action of the plunger. After passing through a specific width of flow restriction gap (working area), the material that loses pressure instantly is sprayed out at a high flow rate (1000 to 1500 meters/second) and collides with one of the collision rings of the valve group, producing three effects:
1. Hole effect: The material compressed by the plunger accumulates high energy, which instantly loses pressure when passing through the flow restriction gap, causing high-energy release and resulting in hole explosion, causing the material to be strongly crushed and refined.
2. Impact effect: When the material passes through the flow restriction gap, it collides with a specially designed collision ring at the above-mentioned high speed, causing the material to be crushed.
3. Shear effect: High speed materials will experience strong shear when passing through valve chamber channels and flow limiting gaps.
What are the differences between microjet homogenizers and high-pressure homogenizers in terms of application areas
Micro jet homogenizer: In the field of ordinary nano homogenization and dispersion, as well as in the preparation of high value-added cosmetics, nano new materials, food, graphene, pharmaceuticals (such as paclitaxel liposomes, alprostadil, etc.) nanoemulsions, liposomes, and nano suspensions, it has higher homogenization effect and lower demulsification rate compared to homogenization valve types.
High pressure homogenizer: Due to its price and resistance to clogging, it is suitable for common value-added homogenization applications such as biological cell crushing, high viscosity chemical materials, dairy beverages, pigment inkjet, and non high purity particle crushing. If the price of micro jet high-pressure homogenizers decreases, the advantages of homogenization valve type high-pressure homogenizers will be reduced.
