Improving the sensitivity, speed, and analytical quality of complex biological detection using high content laser imaging systems

With the increasingly widespread application of highly complex cell-based two-dimensional and three-dimensional analysis techniques in biological research, there is an urgent need to improve automated high-throughput imaging capabilities. Here, we demonstrate the use of ImageXpress ® The Confocal HT.ai high content imaging system has improved detection sensitivity, analysis quality, and acquisition speed. By using a high-power laser light source, the system can significantly increase the light flux of the sample, resulting in brighter images, higher sensitivity, and higher detection flux. This influence is particularly important for detecting sensitivity and imaging time as limiting factors. To demonstrate the practical impact of laser light sources, we presented the results of several complex biological detection systems: GPCR activation detection, tumor cell spheroids, and pulmonary organoids.
