Common troubleshooting of Maisite gas online analyzer
Date: 2025-12-11Read: 1
Maist Gas Online AnalyzerAs a commonly used gas detection equipment, faults are mostly concentrated in core usage processes such as startup operation, measurement data, gas system, and communication transmission. The following are the specific manifestations, troubleshooting directions, and solutions of common faults, suitable for daily on-site maintenance needs:
Unable to power on or abnormal display screen
Fault manifestation: After connecting the power supply, the instrument does not respond, or the display screen is black, blurred, or displays incorrectly.
Troubleshooting and Solution: First, check if the power cord plug is securely plugged in, if the power cord is damaged, and if the power switch is triggered normally. If the power adapter is damaged, replace it with a new one of the same specifications in a timely manner. If the power supply is normal but there is still no display, it is likely that the display screen connection cable is loose or the motherboard is faulty. You can open the instrument casing and gently push the display screen interface to reinforce it. If the problem persists, you need to contact the manufacturer to replace the display screen or repair the motherboard.
Abnormal measurement data (drift, large fluctuations, large deviations)
Fault manifestations: Non zero value (zero drift) when there is no target gas, frequent fluctuation of values during measurement, and deviation of detection results from standard gas concentration beyond the allowable range.
Troubleshooting and Solution: First, check the sensor. If the sensor is used beyond its service life, the electrochemical sensor may experience electrolyte drying, and the catalytic combustion sensor may have catalyst deactivation, requiring replacement with the corresponding model of sensor; Further investigate the calibration issue. If the standard gas has expired or the calibration operation is improper, it is necessary to use compliant standard gas for recalibration. In addition, if the environmental temperature, humidity, and air pressure exceed the working range of the instrument, a preprocessing system can be installed or the instrument can be transferred to a suitable environment to avoid environmental interference that may cause data abnormalities.
Fault in the pneumatic system
Fault manifestation: The instrument response speed significantly slows down, the flow meter float does not move, or there is a gas leakage odor.
Troubleshooting and Solution: First, check the filter. If dust or oil stains clog the intake filter membrane, clean or replace the filter in a timely manner; Recheck the air circuit joints and seals. If the joints are loose, tighten them. If the seals are aging, replace them. The leakage point can be located by applying soapy water and observing the bubbles. If the flowmeter does not respond, it is necessary to check whether the gas path is reversed or if there are foreign objects blocking the pipeline. Reverse blowing the pipeline or disassembling and cleaning the foreign objects can restore it.
Communication transmission failure
Fault manifestation: The instrument cannot be connected to the upper computer and control system, data cannot be uploaded, or data is lost or garbled during transmission.
Troubleshooting and solution: Firstly, check the communication cable. If the cable is damaged or the interface is loose, it is necessary to re plug or replace the shielded cable to reduce interference; Next, check the communication parameters to ensure that the baud rate, communication protocol, and other settings are consistent with the upper computer. If the parameters are incorrect, reconfigure them according to the instructions. If the above operations are ineffective, it may be due to a malfunction in the internal communication module of the instrument, and it needs to be returned to the factory for maintenance.
Calibration failed
Fault manifestation: When executing the calibration procedure, the instrument cannot recognize the standard gas, or after calibration, it still cannot meet the accuracy requirements.
Troubleshooting and Solution: First, check and calibrate the air circuit, conduct air tightness testing to identify pipeline leaks, tighten joints or replace damaged pipelines; Confirm the standard gas again. If the gas concentration does not match the calibration requirements or has expired, replace it with a compliant standard gas of the corresponding concentration. At the same time, check whether the instrument calibration mode is correct. Choosing the wrong mode will cause calibration failure, and it is necessary to switch to the corresponding calibration mode and operate again.
Slow instrument response
Fault manifestation: After introducing the target gas, the instrument value remains unchanged for a long time, and the time required to reach a stable reading far exceeds the normal range.
Troubleshooting and solution: In addition to cleaning the clogged filters and pipelines in the air path, it is also necessary to check the sampling pump. If the pumping capacity decreases, it will cause the gas flow rate to slow down. The impeller of the pump body can be cleaned, and if it is severely worn, the sampling pump needs to be replaced; In addition, if pollutants adhere to the surface of the sensor, it will affect the reaction speed. You can gently wipe the sensor intake film, and if the pollution is severe, replace the sensor directly.
