GB/T 44758-2024 Industrial Silver Nitrate
scope
This document specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, accompanying documents, and purchase order contents of industrial silver nitrate.
This document is applicable to silver nitrate used in fields such as photovoltaics, electronics, electricians, electroplating, thermos flasks, other silver salts, catalysts, and glass coatings.
Terms and definitions
There are no terms or definitions that need to be defined in this document.
classification
molecular formula
Product formula: AgNO3.
The relative molecular weight of the product is 169.87.
product grade
Divided into three grades based on chemical composition: first grade, second grade, and third grade. The first grade products are mainly used in the fields of photovoltaics, electronics, catalysts, etc; Secondary products are mainly used in the fields of electronics, electrical engineering, and other silver salts; Third grade products are mainly used in the fields of insulated bottle liners, electroplating, and glass coating.
Technical Requirements
chemical composition
The chemical composition of the product should comply with the provisions in Table 1. When the demand side has special requirements for the content of other impurity elements, they can be agreed upon by both parties.
Dissolution test
The dissolution test of the product shall comply with the provisions of Table 2.
appearance quality
The product should be a colorless transparent crystal or white powder, without visible inclusions or foreign objects.
Test Method
AgNO3Determination of Content
Sodium chloride standard titration solution (0.2000mol/L)
Weigh 11.6880g of sodium chloride (reference reagent) that has been burned to constant weight in a (550 ± 50) ° C high-temperature furnace, dissolve it in water, dilute it to a 1000mL volumetric flask, dilute it to the mark with water, and mix well.
Determination of samples
Weigh 0.4g of sample (accurate to 0.0001g), dissolve it in 40mL of water, add 2mL of nitric acid solution (1+1), insert silver composite electrode or silver electrode and suitable reference electrode, start the stirrer, titrate with sodium chloride standard titration solution until the potential jump is the endpoint, and measure in parallel for 3 times.
Experimental data processing
The content of silver nitrate is measured by mass fraction[Oh(AgNO)3)]Calculate according to formula (1):![]()
Where:
c——The concentration of sodium chloride standard titration solution is measured in moles per liter (mol/L);
V——The volume of sodium chloride standard titration solution consumed when titrating the sample, measured in milliliters (mL);
m——Weigh the mass of the sample, in grams (g);
169.87- Molar mass of silver nitrate, measured in grams per mole (g/mol).
The calculation result is expressed to 2 decimal places, and the numerical rounding is carried out according to the provisions of 3.2.1 in GB/T 8170-2008. The absolute difference between parallel measurement results shall not exceed 0.15%.
