T/JSQA 008-2020 Edible Salt (Refined Salt)

scope
This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, judgment rules, labeling, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and shelf life of edible salt (refined salt).
This standard applies to edible salt (refined salt) made from mineral brine (liquid salt) through evaporation crystallization, centrifugation, and drying processes, selectively adding K ₄ [Fe (CN) ₆] and iodine fortifiers (potassium iodate, potassium iodide, seaweed iodine), mixing, packaging, and processing (hereinafter referred to as the product).

According to whether iodine fortifiers (potassium iodate, potassium iodide, seaweed iodine) are added to the product, it is divided into iodized edible salt (refined salt) and non iodized edible salt (refined salt).

Mineral brine (liquid salt)
It should meet the requirements of Grade I liquid salt for salt production in QB/T 1879-2001.
Potassium iodate
Should comply with the requirements of GB 26402.
potassium iodide
Should comply with the requirements of GB 29203.
Seaweed iodine
Should comply with the requirements of GB 1903.39.
K₄ [Fe(CN) ₆]
Should comply with the requirements of GB 25581.
