1. Multi parameter water quality analyzerCOD low range - potassium dichromate method
When using the potassium dichromate method to detect low range chemical oxygen demand (COD), the absorbance of trivalent chromium ions generated after the reduction of potassium dichromate is measured at a wavelength of 420nm. The COD value in the sample is directly proportional to the increase in absorbance of trivalent chromium ions, and the specific COD value of the sample can be converted from this absorbance data.
2. Multi parameter water quality analyzerCOD high range - potassium dichromate method
The high range COD detection also uses the potassium dichromate method to determine the total absorbance of unreduced hexavalent chromium ions and reduced trivalent chromium ions in the system at a wavelength of 620nm. The COD value in the sample is positively proportional to the decrease in absorbance of hexavalent chromium ions, as well as to the increase in absorbance of trivalent chromium ions and the decrease in total absorbance. The conversion of the COD value of the sample can be completed based on the measured total absorbance value.
3. Multi parameter water quality analyzerAmmonia nitrogen Nessler's reagent method
Ammonia nitrogen in the form of free ammonia or ammonium ions in the sample reacts with Nessler's reagent to form a light reddish brown complex. The absorbance of the complex is directly proportional to the content of ammonia nitrogen. By measuring the absorbance of the complex at a wavelength of 420nm, the detection of ammonia nitrogen content can be achieved.
4. Multi parameter water quality analyzerTotal phosphorus ammonium molybdate method
When detecting total phosphorus, potassium persulfate is first added to the water sample under neutral conditions for digestion treatment, so that all kinds of phosphorus containing compounds in the water sample are converted into orthophosphate. Subsequently, in an acidic medium and in the presence of antimony salts, orthophosphate reacts with ammonium molybdate to form phosphomolybdic acid, which is immediately reduced by ascorbic acid to form a blue complex. The color intensity of the blue complex corresponds to the total phosphorus content in the water sample, which can be used to complete the detection of total phosphorus content.
5. Multi parameter water quality analyzerTotal nitrogen alkaline persulfate digestion photometric method
When detecting total nitrogen, alkaline potassium persulfate is added to the water sample, and the water sample is digested under high temperature and high pressure conditions to convert all nitrogen elements of various nitrogen-containing compounds in the water sample into nitrate. Subsequently, the remaining potassium persulfate in the sodium metabisulfite masking system is added. In a concentrated acidic environment, nitrate reacts with chromogenic acid to produce a yellow compound. Based on the relevant optical properties of the reaction system, the total nitrogen content can be detected.
