A brief introduction to the maintenance of high and low temperature chambers for automotive bearing testing
Date: 2025-09-01Read: 3
The maintenance of high and low temperature chambers for automotive bearing testing needs to be carried out systematically from multiple dimensions such as daily cleaning, key component maintenance, operating standards, environmental control, and preventive measures. The following are specific maintenance measures:
1、 Daily cleaning and inspection
Box cleaning:
After each experiment, wipe the inner wall of the box with clean water to avoid the accumulation of residues that may cause bacteria or affect temperature conduction.
Regularly clean the interior of the test chamber to prevent corrosion and contamination. When cleaning, use a soft dry cloth or neutral detergent and water, and avoid using brushes, grinding powder, acids, benzene oil or hot water that may damage the equipment.
Sealing inspection:
Regularly inspect the sealing performance of the test chamber to ensure that the sealing components such as the chamber door and observation window are intact and undamaged.
Regularly replace aging sealing strips, promptly repair deformations and cracks, and avoid temperature fluctuations caused by lack of tightness.
Ventilation system inspection:
Ensure that the ventilation openings and fans of the test chamber are not blocked by dust and debris, and keep the ventilation system unobstructed.
Clean the dust on the surface of the condenser once a month to ensure smooth ventilation. You can use a vacuum cleaner, a hard brush, or a high-pressure nozzle for cleaning.
2、 Key component maintenance
Compressor system maintenance:
The compressor is the core component of the refrigeration system and its operating status needs to be checked regularly.
Clean the dust on the condenser and maintain good heat dissipation.
Check the oil level and quality. If the oil quality drops, replace the dedicated refrigeration oil in a timely manner.
Confirm if the refrigerant is leaking and if the pressure is stable.
Electrical system maintenance:
Regularly measure the tightness of electrical contacts to avoid short circuits or poor contact caused by looseness.
Test the functionality of relays, fuses, and sensors.
Clean up the accumulated dust inside the control cabinet to prevent temperature rise from affecting the lifespan of components.
Maintenance of fans and circulation systems:
The fan impeller needs to be regularly cleaned of dust, and the motor needs to be lubricated to ensure smooth air circulation.
Fan failure can cause uneven temperature inside the box, which has a significant impact on the experimental results, so it needs to be given special attention.
Cleaning of waterways and humidifiers:
If the waterway is not smooth and the humidifier scales, it is easy for the humidifier to dry and burn, which may damage the humidifier. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly clean the waterway and humidifier.
Distilled water or deionized water should be used for humidification to avoid impurities affecting humidity control.
3、 Operating standards
Preparation before startup:
Check whether the sealing of the test chamber is good, and whether the electrical components are complete and undamaged.
Ensure that the test chamber is placed in a clean, level, and dry place, avoiding direct sunlight and corrosion.
Monitoring of the experimental process:
During the experiment, closely monitor the temperature, humidity, pressure, and other parameters inside the test chamber.
Avoid frequent start-up of the compressor, with an interval of at least 3 minutes.
Post shutdown processing:
Adjust the temperature to near ambient temperature before shutdown, and turn off the power after running for 30 minutes.
Clean the inner walls of the studio and keep the equipment clean and dry.
4、 Environmental control
Temperature control:
The test chamber should be set up in a stable and well ventilated indoor environment, with a temperature controlled between 5 ℃ and 30 ℃. Air conditioning is required for exceeding the range.
Humidity control:
The humidity should be ≤ 85% RH to avoid component corrosion caused by high humidity environments.
Ventilation requirements:
A space of ≥ 0.5 meters should be reserved behind the equipment for heat dissipation to avoid direct heat sources.
5、 Preventive measures
Regular calibration:
Regularly calibrate the temperature and humidity control system of the test chamber to ensure its accuracy and stability. Calibration can be performed by professional technicians.
Consumables replacement:
Timely replace consumables such as sealing strips, sensors, filters, etc. Although these components do not belong to the core components, the performance degradation after the service life will greatly affect the overall performance of the equipment.
Establish and maintain records:
Record in detail the date, content, replaced parts, and calibration data of each maintenance. These records help track the historical performance of the equipment and provide reference for subsequent maintenance and fault diagnosis.
