Cleaning and maintenance
Cleaning after use: After each use, use a clean cloth or brush to remove dust, debris, and oil stains from the surface of the power tool. For dirt that is difficult to remove, mild cleaning agents can be used, but water or cleaning agents should be avoided from entering the interior of the tool.
Regularly check the heat dissipation channels: Regularly inspect the ventilation openings and heat dissipation fins of the tool to ensure they are not blocked, in order to ensure normal heat dissipation of the tool.
Lubrication maintenance
Regular lubrication: For electric tools with moving parts such as bearings, an appropriate amount of lubricating oil or grease should be added regularly to reduce friction and wear.
Lubricant selection: It is necessary to comprehensively consider environmental conditions, temperature, speed, and load conditions, choose the appropriate lubricant, and add it according to the instructions.
Inspection and Maintenance
Component inspection: Regularly check the power cord, plug, switch and other components of the electric tool to ensure that there is no damage, looseness or poor contact. Check for cracks or damage on the casing.
Replacement of vulnerable parts: Regularly check the wear and tear of vulnerable parts such as carbon brushes, blades, and drill bits, and replace them in a timely manner to ensure tool performance and safety.

Storage and maintenance
Storage environment: When not in use for a long time, store electric tools in a dry, ventilated, and cool place, avoiding direct sunlight and humid environments.
Power handling: Unplug the power cord of the tool to avoid accidental startup. For precision electric tools, specialized toolboxes can be used for storage to prevent collisions and damage.
Special maintenance of bearings
Regular disassembly and maintenance: At least once a year, disassemble and inspect the internal components of the bearing for looseness or detachment, clean the bearing, and replace the lubricating oil.
Lubricating grease replacement: After six months of continuous operation, the lubricating grease should be replaced for the bearings of small and medium-sized electric motors. When the lubricating grease deteriorates or the bearing heats up, it needs to be replaced immediately. When replacing, remove the old grease, clean the bearings and bearing covers, and add new lubricating grease to 1/3-2/3 of the bearing chamber space.

Temperature monitoring: Set the upper limit of bearing temperature (such as not exceeding 95 ℃), install an alarm system, and promptly check and handle any temperature abnormalities.
Lubricating grease status monitoring: Pay attention to whether the lubricating grease liquefies or clumps. If any problems are found, the bearing system needs to be thoroughly inspected.
