1、 Preparation before operation
environment check
Place the electric heating plate on a stable and heat-resistant tabletop, away from flammable materials, water sources, and humid environments, ensuring good ventilation and avoiding high temperatures in enclosed spaces.
Equipment inspection
Confirm that there are no residues, scratches, or damage on the surface of the electric heating plate, and that the power cord and plug are intact and undamaged.
Check if the thermostat is functioning properly, and calibrate the temperature for the first use (some models require preheating before calibration).
Use non corrosive cleaning agents (such as alcohol) to wipe the surface of stainless steel. For stubborn stains, use a soft cloth dipped in specialized stainless steel cleaning agents to gently wipe. Do not use steel wire balls.
Power matching
Confirm that the rated voltage (such as 220V) and frequency (such as 50Hz) of the electric heating plate are matched with the local power supply to avoid equipment damage caused by unstable voltage.
2、 Operation steps
Place the sample
Load the sample to be heated (such as liquid, solid, or culture medium) into a high-temperature resistant container (such as glassware, metal tray), ensuring that the bottom of the container is flat and in full contact with the electric heating plate.
The amount of liquid sample should not exceed 2/3 of the container height to prevent boiling overflow.
Power on
Insert the power cord into a socket that meets the rated parameters, turn on the power switch, and the indicator light will light up to indicate that the device is powered on.
set temperature
Input the target temperature through the temperature control knob or touch panel (it is recommended to gradually increase from low temperature).
When using or heating a new sample for the first time, it can be preheated without load for 5-10 minutes to make the surface temperature uniform.
heating process
Regularly observe the status of the sample during the heating process to avoid local overheating or liquid boiling overflow.
If long-term operation is required, it is recommended to check the equipment status every 2 hours to ensure stable temperature.
Stop heating
After heating is completed, turn off the thermostat or temperature control knob first, and then disconnect the power switch to avoid damage to the equipment caused by sudden cooling.
After the board surface has completely cooled down (usually taking more than 30 minutes), clean or store it.
3、 Safety precautions
Temperature limit
The continuous operating temperature should be less than 240 ℃, and the instantaneous temperature should not exceed 300 ℃.
Under adhesive installation conditions, the allowable working temperature is less than 150 ℃; The power density under air dry burning conditions should be less than 1W/cm ².
Anti scalding measures
Wear heat-resistant gloves during operation to avoid direct skin contact with the board surface.
Heating liquids requires covering or using non slip trays to prevent tipping and short circuits.
Dedicated person to take care of
When the electric heating plate is in working condition, it should be supervised by a dedicated person to avoid overheating or fire caused by unattended operation.
Child protection
After shutdown, residual heat on the board surface may still cause burns. Warning and isolation of equipment are required to prevent children from coming into contact.
exception handling
If the equipment emits smoke, makes abnormal noises, or malfunctions in temperature control, immediately turn off the power and contact professional personnel for maintenance.
4、 Maintenance and upkeep
Daily cleaning
Clean the residue on the board surface in a timely manner after use, and wipe it with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a neutral cleaner.
Avoid using corrosive cleaning agents or hard objects to scratch the surface.
regular inspection
Check heating elements and temperature controllers monthly to ensure they are not aging or loose.
Power on once every quarter (run at low temperature without load for 10 minutes) to prevent internal components from getting damp.
Long term storage
After the power is cut off, place it in a dry place and cover it with a dust-proof cloth.
Disconnect the power plug when not in use for a long time to avoid standby power consumption or safety hazards.
5、 Special operating conditions
Heating under pressure
When using Guowei silicone electric heating devices, an auxiliary pressure plate can be used to make it tightly adhere to the heated surface. At this time, the heat conduction is good, and when the working area temperature does not exceed 240 ℃, the power density can reach 3W/cm ².
Non continuous operating conditions
Under non continuous conditions of air dry burning, the power density can reach 1.4W/cm ², but strict control of temperature and time is required.
6、 Operation taboos
No empty burning allowed
Long term air burning may damage the internal heating wire and shorten the lifespan of the equipment.
Overloading prohibited
Do not place items on the electric heating plate that exceed its load-bearing capacity to avoid deformation or damage to the equipment.
Prohibit operation in humid environments
A humid environment may lead to electrical faults or electric shock risks.
