The thin film oxygen permeability tester (isobaric method) is a professional equipment used to test the oxygen permeability performance of thin films and packaging materials. This instrument is based on the principle of isobaric testing, and accurately measures the oxygen barrier performance of materials by simulating actual environmental conditions, providing scientific basis for material research and development, quality control, and packaging design.
The tester adopts the principle of isobaric testing, also known as Coulomb electric quantity method, and its basic working process is as follows:
Clamp the pre processed sample between the testing chambers to ensure good sealing. The test gas flows high-purity oxygen or air on one side of the film, and high-purity nitrogen on the other side. Oxygen molecules diffuse through the membrane to the nitrogen side and are carried by the flowing nitrogen gas to the sensor. The sensor accurately measures the concentration of oxygen carried in the nitrogen flow and calculates parameters such as oxygen permeability through analysis.
