In long-distance oil and gas pipelines, the PDS873 remote pressure transmitter is the forefront of leak monitoring. On the natural gas pipeline that stretches for hundreds of kilometers, a transmitter is installed every 5-10 kilometers to monitor the pressure inside the pipeline in real time. The data is transmitted to the control center through LoRa or 4G network, and the sampling interval can be set to 1-60 seconds. When the pressure of a certain section of pipeline drops sharply by more than 0.5 MPa within 1 minute, the system determines that a leak may occur, and combines GPS positioning information to quickly locate the leak area, reducing the repair response time to within 30 minutes. Its low-power design is suitable for outdoor environments without external power supply, and the enclosure protection level reaches IP68. It can work normally in harsh temperatures of -40-85 ℃ and withstand harsh weather conditions such as rain, snow, sand, etc. ​

The dispatch center analyzes the pressure distribution in different areas, optimizes the operating parameters of the water pumps, and reduces the leakage rate of the pipeline network by 5-8%. In the centralized heating system, remote pressure transmitters are distributed between the heating station and the user end to monitor the pressure difference between the supply and return water. When the pressure difference in a certain area is less than 10% of the design value, it indicates that the pipeline may be blocked or the efficiency of the circulating pump may decrease. Timely personnel should be sent for maintenance to avoid residents' room temperature not meeting the standard. ​
PDS873 solves the monitoring problem in remote industrial sites and environmental monitoring. In the drainage system of underground mines, transmitters are installed in the underground pump room to remotely transmit the outlet pressure of the water pump. The surface control room can real-time monitor whether the drainage pressure is normal, avoiding safety accidents caused by underground water accumulation. In the leachate collection system of the landfill site, the liquid level pressure of the collection well is monitored. When the pressure exceeds the warning value, the lifting pump is automatically started to transport the leachate to the treatment station to prevent sewage overflow and soil pollution. Its explosion-proof design is suitable for flammable and explosive environments, such as pressure monitoring in gas station oil tank areas, which can provide real-time warning of oil tank overpressure or negative pressure risks, ensuring storage safety. ​
In addition, in the agricultural irrigation system, the PDS873 remote pressure transmitter is used to monitor the pressure of the drip irrigation pipe network.
