In industrial fields such as petrochemicals, power energy, and water treatment, differential pressure measurement of fluids is a key link in monitoring process flows and ensuring equipment safety. In the operation of the distillation tower, the equipment needs to monitor the differential pressure between the bottom and top of the tower in real time, and judge the gas-liquid equilibrium state inside the tower through changes in differential pressure. In the boiler and steam drum systems of the power industry, this transmitter is the guardian of safe operation. When monitoring the water level in the boiler drum, traditional glass tube level gauges are easily affected by high temperature and high pressure. However, PDS843LH indirectly calculates the water level height by measuring the differential pressure between the inner water side and the steam side of the drum, with a measurement range of 0-2000mm H ₂ O and a resolution of 0.1mm. It can work stably in high temperature environments of 300 ℃ and high pressure environments of 10MPa. When the water level is below the safety threshold, the transmitter output signal triggers the water replenishment device to prevent the boiler from burning dry. In the turbine lubricating oil system, the differential pressure before and after the filter is measured. When the differential pressure exceeds 15kPa, it indicates that the filter is clogged and the filter element needs to be replaced in a timely manner to avoid equipment wear caused by insufficient lubricating oil supply. ​
In water treatment and environmental engineering, PDS843LH differential pressure transmitter assists the efficient operation of the system. In the membrane filtration process of sewage treatment, the equipment monitors the differential pressure at the inlet and outlet of the membrane components. When the differential pressure rises by 20%, it indicates that the membrane pollution has worsened, and the cleaning program is automatically started to extend the membrane service life by more than 30%.
