4000A fully insulated copper tube busbarIt uses copper pipes as conductors and external insulation. It is a busbar product. The busbar uses hollow copper tubes as conductors. The outer surface of the copper tube also has a thermal insulation layer and a pressure equalization shielding layer. The insulation waterproof layer, grounding shielding layer, external insulation protective tube layer, and UV resistant insulation three color sheath external protective layer can be insulated. Copper tube busbars cannot be processed on site like cable trays. Busbars are pre processed and then installed directly on site. At present, it is generally used for air conditioning refrigeration rooms, heat exchange station rooms, etc. in substations, distribution stations, and large projects.
Structure and principle:
The fully insulated copper tube busbar consists of copper tubes, insulation materials, and fixing devices. Copper pipes, as conductive parts, have good electrical conductivity and mechanical strength. The insulation material wrapped around the outer surface of the copper tube can effectively prevent current leakage and protect personal safety. The fixing device is used to fix the busbar in a suitable position to ensure its stable operation.

1. High current carrying capacity, low skin effect, and low power consumption. Insulated copper tube busbar is a hollow conductor with a large surface area, uniform current density distribution on the conductor surface, and low skin effect coefficient. Compared to multiple rectangular conductors, it has the same load. In the flowing state, the AC resistance of the high-voltage insulated tube busbar is very small, so the power loss of the busbar is very small.
2. Good heat dissipation conditions, low temperature rise and high voltage insulation tube busbar are hollow conductors. In the application of natural insulated copper tube busbar in new projects, the inner diameter air duct of the busbar can form hot air convection. The heat dissipation conditions are good.
3. Large cross-sectional coefficient and high mechanical strength. Due to the tubular nature of the conductor, it has a large cross-sectional coefficient and high mechanical strength. Can be arranged over a large span while reducing the number of busbar supports. In the case of a short-circuit current of 50kA, the suspended span of the Φ 100 × 5mm copper tube busbar is 9 meters, and the busbar can be supported by the busbar bracket, with a busbar span of up to 13 meters.
4. High electrical insulation performance. The high-voltage insulated tubular busbar adopts a sealed shielding insulation method, and the grounding potential of the shell is zero. Shielded insulation tube type busbar has uniform electric field distribution, strong electrical insulation performance, and good weather resistance.
5. Strong seismic resistance and simplified installation. High voltage insulated tubular busbars can be directly fixed on steel structure frames or concrete supports, eliminating the need for wall sleeves and post insulators, and have strong seismic resistance. The busbar structure is simple, the layout is clear, the installation is convenient, and maintenance free operation is required
6. Insulation materials have high heat resistance, aging resistance, and high insulation performance. The main insulation material for insulated tubular busbars is polytetrafluoroethylene, which can operate at temperatures ranging from -250 ℃ to+340 ℃. It has excellent electrical performance and chemical stability. Low loss, flame retardant, aging resistant, with a service life of ≥ 30 years.
7. Not affected by environmental interference, high reliability, and low maintenance workload. The high-voltage insulated tubular busbar is covered with insulation, with no condensation inside, eliminating the influence of external factors such as moisture and dust, and has high reliability. The high-voltage insulated tubular busbar adopts single machine sealing and shielding insulation, reliable grounding, can avoid all short-circuit faults, high reliability, and low maintenance.
