Zirconium cell analyzerIt is a key instrument used for precise detection of oxygen content in industrial production and laboratories, and its measurement accuracy and service life directly depend on the standardization of daily maintenance. This article has compiled a set of simple and easy to understand maintenance points that can be directly implemented to help operators quickly master equipment maintenance skills.
1、 Maintenance of sensors (core components)
Regularly clean the probe
Frequency: Depending on the usage environment, it is recommended to clean industrial sites with high levels of dust and oil fumes once a week, and clean laboratory environments can be cleaned once a month.
Method: First, turn off the power and wait for the probe to cool down to room temperature. Use a soft bristled brush to gently remove dust and carbon deposits from the surface of the probe; If there is stubborn oil stains, they can be wiped with degreased cotton soaked in anhydrous ethanol. It is strictly prohibited to use hard objects to scratch the ceramic sensing element to avoid damaging the zirconia element.
Attention: After cleaning, it should be naturally dried and not dried at high temperatures to prevent component cracking.
Calibration and aging treatment
Calibration cycle: Perform zero and range calibration every 1-3 months using standard oxygen gas (such as 20.9% standard air, 1000ppm low oxygen standard gas) to ensure that the calibration gas path is leak free.
Aging maintenance: New probes or probes that have been out of use for a long time need to be aged at operating temperature for 24 hours before being put into use. After the output signal stabilizes, they can be put back into use; If the probe has been used for more than 1 year and its accuracy has decreased, it should be replaced in a timely manner.
The temperature protected zirconia sensor needs to operate at a specific temperature (usually 650-850 ℃), and the heating wire and temperature controller should be checked regularly to avoid measurement errors caused by insufficient temperature or component burnout caused by high temperature.
2、 Maintenance of pneumatic system
Pipeline cleaning and leak detection
Regularly check whether the gas pipeline is blocked or deformed, and use compressed air to blow away impurities inside the pipeline every quarter; Check for air leakage at the joint using the soap bubble method. If any leakage is found, replace the sealing gasket or pipeline in a timely manner.
For the sampling gas path, it is necessary to regularly clean the filter element (it is recommended to replace the filter element once a month) to prevent dust from entering the instrument and affecting the measurement.
When replacing desiccants in the gas path (such as silica gel and molecular sieve), they should be kept dry. When the silica gel changes color (blue to pink), it should be replaced or dried immediately to prevent water vapor from entering the sensor, causing component failure and measurement data drift.
3、 Maintenance of instrument host
Appearance and internal dust removal
Wipe the host casing with a dry cloth in daily life to avoid oil stains and dust accumulation; After a power outage every six months, open the computer case and use a hair dryer or dust brush to clean the dust on the motherboard, display screen, and other components to prevent short circuits or poor heat dissipation.
Circuit and wiring inspection: Regularly check whether the host wiring terminals are loose or oxidized. If there is poor contact, tighten the terminals and clean the oxide layer; Simultaneously confirm that the insulation layers of the power and signal lines are not damaged, ensuring the safe operation of the equipment.
For models with storage functions, regularly export historical data backups for data and system maintenance; If the host has built-in software, it is necessary to update the firmware according to the manufacturer's requirements to avoid data loss or functional abnormalities caused by system failures.
4、 Precautions for daily use
avoidZirconium cell analyzerWhen working in environments with severe vibrations and high concentrations of corrosive gases, protective devices should be installed if necessary.
When starting up, it is necessary to first turn on the carrier gas before starting the heating. When shutting down, turn off the heating first and then cut off the carrier gas to prevent the sensor from being damaged due to sudden changes in temperature.
Establish and maintain a ledger to record the time and situation of each cleaning, calibration, and replacement of parts, facilitating the traceability of equipment status.
