Detailed introduction of multi-channel continuous fiber optic light source
Date: 2025-08-26Read: 1

Multi channel continuous fiber optic light sourceBy using multi wavelength lasers or supercontinuum spectroscopy technology, parallel output of multiple wavelengths can be achieved in a single optical fiber.

Multi channel continuous fiber optic light sourceBased on the principle of fiber amplifier, laser diode(LD)The emitted laser is coupled into the fiber through a coupler, and the fiber serves as a gain medium. The atoms or ions inside are excited to a high-energy state by the pump source, forming stimulated radiation. When particles transition from a high-energy level to a low-energy level, photons are released, which propagate in multiple modes inside the fiber and form a stable multi-channel laser output through the selection and strengthening of the resonant cavity.

Features:

Rich wavelength selection: The wavelength coverage range is wide, covering multiple wavelengths such as visible light and near-infrared.

Parameters can be independently adjusted: The wavelength, power, and other parameters of each channel can be independently adjusted to meet different experimental and testing needs.

High stability: Spectral and power stability, short-term stability can reach ≤±0.02dBLong term stability ≤±0.05dB.

Easy to operate: usually equipped with a touch screen or throughRS232Control is carried out through serial communication and other methods, and some also provide upper computer software for convenient user operation and settings.

High safety: Adopting electrical design and packaging forms that comply with relevant standards to ensure safe use.

Application fields:

Fiber optic sensing: used in distributed fiber optic sensing systems to monitor physical quantities such as temperature and strain.

Optical device testing: Performance testing and calibration of optical devices such as fiber Bragg gratings and wavelength division multiplexers.

Biomedical imaging, such as fluorescence imaging, provides a stable light source for imaging biological tissues.

Semiconductor testing: detecting surface defects, photolithography patterns, etc. of semiconductor chips.

Machine vision inspection: used in industrial production for object recognition, size measurement, and other machine vision systems, providing illumination sources of different wavelengths.
