Sharing the functional characteristics of each component of the incubator temperature and humidity verification instrument
Date: 2025-08-21Read: 0

In biopharmaceutical, medical device, food testing, and scientific research laboratories, incubators serve as spaces for cell culture, microbial reproduction, and stability testing. The accuracy of their internal temperature and humidity directly affects the reliability of experimental results and product safety. The incubator temperature and humidity verification instrument, as a calibration space instrument, uses multi-channel, high-precision sensors and data recording systems to dynamically verify the environmental parameters inside the incubator at multiple points throughout the entire process, ensuring compliance with GMP, GLP, and pharmacopoeia standards.

1. High precision temperature and humidity sensor probe
The core of the incubator temperature and humidity verification instrument is multiple digital temperature and humidity sensing units distributed on the verification probe or cable. Temperature probes often use platinum resistors (PT100/PT1000), which have the characteristics of high stability, good linearity, and small long-term drift. The temperature measurement range covers -80 ℃ to 180 ℃, and the accuracy can reach ± 0.1 ℃. The humidity sensor adopts a capacitive polymer probe, which has fast response, low hysteresis, measurement range of 0-100% RH, and accuracy of ± 1.5% RH. The probe is encapsulated in a stainless steel sheath and is resistant to high temperature sterilization (such as 121 ℃ wet heat sterilization), suitable for various incubator environments.
2. Multi channel data collector
The data collector can synchronously connect 8, 16, or even 32 sensor probes to achieve parallel collection of temperature and humidity at multiple points (such as top, middle, bottom, left, right, front, and back) inside the incubator. Built in high-resolution ADC (Analog to Digital Converter) and real-time processor ensure data synchronization and accuracy. Support multiple sampling frequency settings (such as adjustable from 1 second to 30 minutes) to meet the requirements of different verification schemes.
3. Data storage and recording module
Built in large capacity non-volatile memory (such as SD card or Flash) can continuously record data from all channels for a long time, storing tens of thousands to millions of data points. The recorded content includes timestamp, channel number, temperature, humidity values, and alarm status to ensure traceability of the verification process and compliance with 21CFR Part 11 electronic recording requirements.
4. Display and operation interface
Equipped with LCD or color touch screen, real-time display of channel values, trend curves, and statistical parameters (maximum, minimum, average, fluctuation range). Users can verify parameters, start/stop recording, and view historical data through buttons or touch settings, making the operation intuitive and convenient.
5. Communication and output interface
Provide USB, RS232, Bluetooth or Wi Fi interfaces, support exporting verification data to PDF, CSV or Excel formats, facilitating the generation of verification reports that comply with regulatory requirements. Some models support wireless real-time monitoring, enabling remote data viewing and alarm push.
6. Power supply and protection system
The incubator temperature and humidity verification instrument uses rechargeable lithium batteries or external power sources to ensure uninterrupted power during long-term verification. The overall design meets the IP65 protection level, is dustproof and waterproof, and is suitable for complex laboratory environments.
