Let's learn about the main functions and application scenarios of the printing stroboscope together
Date: 2025-11-07Read: 0
A printing strobe is an instrument used to detect the operating status of printing equipment. It uses the principle of strobe to make high-speed moving parts appear stationary, making it easy to observe and analyze problems during the printing process. The printing strobe adjusts the flash frequency to visually present the high-speed moving parts of the printing machine (such as the drum, paper feeding device, etc.) in a stationary state.
The printing strobe emits brief and frequent flashes, and when the flash frequency is close to or synchronized with the movement speed of the printed pattern, it utilizes the visual persistence effect of the human eye to make the high-speed moving printed pattern appear to move slowly or relatively still. This visual persistence phenomenon allows people to visually and easily observe the surface quality of printed patterns, such as ink distribution, color deviation, pattern defects, etc., without causing color distortion.
Main functions
Printing quality inspection: During the printing process, the strobe can monitor the quality of printed patterns in real time, helping operators to detect and correct printing defects in a timely manner, such as uneven ink, inaccurate color matching, blurry patterns, etc., thereby improving the quality and pass rate of printed products.
Speed measurement and synchronization control: By adjusting the flash frequency of the stroboscope, it can synchronize with the operating speed of the printing machine, thereby achieving accurate measurement of printing speed. At the same time, the stroboscope can also serve as a synchronous control signal source for controlling other equipment related to the printing process, such as inspection machines, slitting machines, etc.
Vibration and fault diagnosis: The stroboscope can also be used to detect the vibration situation of printing machines or other related equipment. By analyzing the vibration frequency and amplitude, it helps operators determine whether there are faults or potential problems with the equipment, so as to carry out timely maintenance and repair.
Application scenarios
Printing machine: During the printing process, the strobe can monitor the quality of the printed pattern in real time to ensure that the printed product meets the quality requirements.
Inspection machine: During the inspection process, the strobe can help operators quickly identify printing defects, improve inspection efficiency and accuracy.
Slitting machine and rewinding machine: In these devices, a stroboscope can be used to monitor the movement status of materials, ensuring the smooth progress of the slitting or rewinding process.
Film pressing machine, hot stamping machine, and palm closing machine: Among these devices, a strobe can be used to monitor the quality of patterns during the film pressing, hot stamping, or palm closing process, ensuring that the processing effect meets the requirements.
