Handheld stroboscope is mainly used to detect the surface quality, operating status, and speed parameters of high-speed moving objects. By adjusting the flash frequency, the moving object appears in a stationary state, which is convenient for observation and analysis.
Handheld stroboscope adjusts the flash frequency to approach or synchronize with the rotation or movement speed of the object being measured. By utilizing the visual persistence effect of the human eye, when the flash frequency matches the object's motion frequency, a high-speed moving object will form a "still" image on the retina, allowing for clear observation of its surface defects, vibration, or trajectory. For example, in the printing industry, the overprint accuracy and ink distribution during high-speed printing can be detected by a strobe. ‌
Main functions
Speed measurement: By adjusting the flash frequency to synchronize with the object's motion speed, non-contact measurement is achieved, which is suitable for real-time monitoring of rotating components such as motors and gears. ‌
Surface quality inspection: When the flash frequency is close to the object's motion speed, it can clearly display surface defects (such as cracks, wear, etc.) of the object, commonly used for quality inspection in industries such as printing and textile. ‌
Vibration diagnosis: By observing changes in the light spot, analyze the vibration state of the object and assist in troubleshooting. ‌
