Ultrasonic extraction equipmentThe stable operation relies on scientific daily maintenance, and the state of its core components (such as transducers, extraction tanks, electrical systems) directly affects extraction efficiency and equipment lifespan. Focusing on the following three core maintenance points can effectively reduce the risk of failures and ensure the long-term reliable operation of equipment.
1、 Core functional components: maintenance and testing of transducers
The transducer is the core component that converts electrical energy into ultrasonic energy, and its performance degradation can directly lead to a decrease in extraction efficiency, requiring special maintenance.
Cleaning and scaling prevention: After each use, it is necessary to promptly clean the residual materials and scaling on the surface of the transducer. For water-soluble residues, wipe with warm water and a soft cloth; For mineral deposits (such as those generated after extracting traditional Chinese medicine or minerals), soak them in dilute citric acid solution for 5-10 minutes first, and then gently wipe them with a soft cloth. It is strictly prohibited to use hard tools such as steel wire balls to scrape and avoid damaging the ceramic surface of the transducer. After cleaning, rinse with clean water and wipe dry to prevent rusting.
Performance testing: Regularly check the working status of the transducer every week. If abnormal noise increases during equipment operation, there is no obvious cavitation effect in the extraction tank (such as no bubble rolling), or the extraction time is significantly prolonged under the same parameters, the machine needs to be stopped for troubleshooting. The resonant frequency of the transducer can be detected by professional instruments (with a normal range deviation of no more than ± 5kHz from the rated frequency of the equipment). If the deviation is too large, the manufacturer needs to be contacted for calibration or replacement.
Sealing protection: Check the sealing ring at the connection between the transducer and the extraction tank. If there is aging, cracking, or deformation, it should be replaced immediately to prevent the extraction solvent from seeping into the interior and damaging the circuit. When replacing, it is necessary to use the same type of solvent resistant sealing ring (such as fluororubber material, suitable for most organic solvents).
2、 Bearing components: anti-corrosion and cleaning of extraction tank
The extraction tank comes into direct contact with various solvents and materials, and is susceptible to corrosion, contamination, or mechanical damage. Maintenance should take into account anti-corrosion, cleaning, and structural inspection.
Classification cleaning: Select the cleaning method based on the characteristics of the extracted materials. After extracting food or traditional Chinese medicine, clean it with food grade detergent solution, and then rinse it with deionized water; After extracting corrosive materials such as strong acids and alkalis, the tank should be immediately rinsed with a large amount of water, soaked in neutral buffer solution for 10 minutes to neutralize residues, and finally dried; After extracting viscous materials (such as resins and polysaccharides), the residue can be softened by soaking in ethanol first, and then cleaned with a soft bristled brush to avoid residual clumping.
Anti corrosion inspection: Check the inner wall of the extraction tank every week. If local corrosion, scratches, or coating peeling (such as PTFE anti-corrosion coating) are found, they should be dealt with in a timely manner. Minor scratches can be repaired with specialized anti-corrosion coating. In case of severe corrosion, the tank body needs to be replaced to prevent solvent leakage or material contamination. For scenarios where corrosive solvents are frequently used, it is recommended to regularly apply a thin layer of food grade anti-corrosion grease on the inner wall of the tank to enhance protection.
Structural stability: Check the fixed brackets and connecting bolts of the extraction slot. If there is any looseness, tighten them in a timely manner to prevent the slot from shaking and increasing wear during equipment operation; If the tank body deforms, it needs to be shut down for calibration to avoid affecting the uniformity of ultrasonic energy distribution.
3、 Power guarantee: maintenance of electrical and cooling systems
The electrical system provides power, while the cooling system ensures stable operating temperature of the equipment. The maintenance of both directly affects equipment safety and operational efficiency.
Electrical system maintenance: Open the electrical control box every month, clean the internal dust with dry compressed air or a brush, and focus on cleaning the accumulated dust at the circuit board, contactor, and wiring terminals to prevent short circuits or poor contacts. Check whether the circuit joints are loose and whether the insulation layer is aged or damaged. If any problems are found, tighten or replace the wires in a timely manner. At the same time, test the sensitivity of safety devices such as emergency stop buttons and overload protection to ensure that they can be triggered normally.
Cooling system maintenance: Air cooled equipment needs to clean the cooling fan and cooling holes weekly, remove dust and debris, and ensure smooth ventilation; Water cooling equipment needs to check the coolant level every two weeks. If it is insufficient, special coolant should be replenished in a timely manner (tap water should not be used as a substitute to avoid scaling). The coolant should be replaced every three months, and the cooling pipeline should be cleaned to prevent pipeline blockage from affecting the heat dissipation effect. Check the operation status of the cooling pump. If there is an increase in noise or a decrease in flow rate, the pump body needs to be inspected or the filter screen needs to be replaced.
Standby protection: When the device is not in use for a long time, the main power should be cut off and the body should be covered with a dust cover; Power on and run for 10 minutes every month to activate all components and prevent capacitor aging or seal ring hardening.
In addition, it is recommended to establish an equipment maintenance ledger to record in detail the time and situation of each cleaning, testing, and component replacement. The maintenance cycle should be adjusted based on the frequency of equipment use (such as daily cleaning and comprehensive weekly inspections) to maximize the service life of the equipment.
