The ultrasonic nano disperser uses high-frequency ultrasonic cavitation effect to generate instantaneous high-temperature and high-pressure micro jet in the liquid, effectively crush aggregates, peel layered materials, promote the uniform dispersion of nanoparticles, and is widely used in graphene preparation, nano coatings, lithium battery slurry, cosmetics lotion, biomedicine and other fields. The processing effect directly depends on the scientific nature of the operating parameters and processes. If used improperly, it not only reduces dispersion efficiency, but may also damage equipment or cause sample degradation. Mastering the correct usage of ultrasonic nanodispersers is the key to achieving nanoscale uniformity.

1、 Preparation before use
Check sample compatibility: Confirm that the material can be treated with ultrasound (avoid high volatility, flammable, or highly corrosive solvents);
Check the status of the probe: The titanium alloy amplitude rod has no cracks, wear or oxidation, and the threads are tightened;
Suitable container: Use a glass or stainless steel beaker with a capacity of 2-3 times the sample volume to prevent overflow.
2、 Standardize operational procedures
Control liquid level: The sample liquid level should submerge the front end of the probe by 5-10mm. If it is too shallow, splashing may occur, and if it is too deep, cavitation efficiency will be reduced;
Set reasonable parameters:
Power: usually set at 30% -70% of rated power to avoid excessive cavitation causing particle breakage or heat generation;
Time: Adopting the "working/intermittent" mode (such as 3 seconds on and 2 seconds off), the total processing time is 5-30 minutes to prevent local overheating;
Ice bath temperature control: For thermosensitive samples (such as proteins and polymers), place the container in an ice water bath and maintain the temperature below 40 ℃.
3、 Precautions during operation
It is strictly prohibited to start without load (turn on ultrasound when there is no liquid), otherwise it will instantly burn out the transducer;
Avoid touching the container wall or bottom with the probe to prevent resonance damage;
When processing high viscosity slurries, mechanical stirring can be used to assist circulation and improve uniformity.
4、 Post use maintenance
Immediately rinse the probe with deionized water or ethanol to prevent residue from solidifying;
Dry the amplitude lever and store it on a dry bracket to avoid collision;
Regularly inspect cable connectors and cooling fans to ensure electrical safety.
