Daily Maintenance Checklist and Execution Standards for Ultrasonic Vibration Rod
Date: 2025-09-16Read: 24
Ultrasonic vibration rodAs a core tool for industrial cleaning, dispersion mixing, and cell lysis, its performance stability directly affects production efficiency and product quality. Despite the compact structure of the equipment, high-frequency transducers (usually 20-40kHz), titanium alloy amplitude rods, and sealing components are subjected to high load operation for a long time, requiring a three minute daily standardized inspection to eliminate potential hazards and extend their service life.
1、 Basic appearance and connection inspection
Firstly, observe whether there are obvious cracks, deformations, or corrosion marks on the surface of the vibrating rod. Focus on checking whether the welding part between the titanium alloy amplitude rod and the transducer is loose. If the gap exceeds 0.5mm, stop the machine immediately and report for repair. Subsequently, check whether the insulation layer of the power cord and plug is damaged, and whether the grounding wire is firmly connected (grounding resistance should be<4 Ω) to avoid the risk of leakage. After confirmation, there is no liquid leakage at the flange or threaded connection, and the sealing ring (recommended to use fluororubber material) has no aging or hardening phenomenon.
2、 Quick verification of functional status
Turn on the device and run it without load for 30 seconds. By touching the tail of the vibrating rod (maintaining a safe distance), sense whether the amplitude is uniform and stable: under normal conditions, you should feel regular high-frequency vibration (similar to buzzer vibration). If there is local vibration or silent abnormal noise (such as "click" sound), it may be due to the detachment of the transducer or internal chip cracking. Using a laser vibrometer (or a simple scale and reflective sticker method) to measure the amplitude at the end of the amplitude rod, it is necessary to meet the equipment calibration value (such as the standard amplitude of a 20kHz vibrating rod being 50-80 μ m), and adjust the driving power frequency if the deviation exceeds ± 15%.

3、 Environmental and auxiliary system inspection
Clean up corrosive liquids (such as strong acids and organic solvents) splashed around the vibrating rod to avoid long-term erosion of the shell coating; Check if the cooling water circulation system (if it is a water-cooled equipment) is unobstructed. The water temperature should be controlled within the range of 15-35 ℃, and deionized water should be replenished in a timely manner when the water level is below the lower scale line. Record the daily operating hours and environmental temperature and humidity (it is recommended to save them in the equipment log) to provide data support for periodic maintenance.
Execution standards and precautions
All inspections must be carried out by operators trained by the manufacturer, using calibrated testing tools such as digital megohmmeters and vibration testers. If any abnormalities are found (such as amplitude attenuation>20%, abnormal noise lasting more than 3 times), the machine must be stopped and a "to be repaired" sign must be hung, and forced use is prohibited. Daily maintenance records should be kept for at least one year and updated synchronously with the equipment lifecycle archives - these three minute "micro habits" are precisely the guaranteeUltrasonic vibration rodThe key defense line for efficient operation.
