Core principle and industry application of focused ultrasonic disperser
Date: 2025-08-22Read: 20
Focused ultrasonic disperser is a special equipment used for material dispersion in nano material, biomedicine and coating industries. It uses high intensity focused ultrasound to disperse solid particles (such as nano powder) or liquid droplets in liquid to the nanometer level. It is widely used in nano material dispersion, cell crushing, emulsification and other fields to solve the problems of uneven dispersion and low efficiency of traditional dispersion methods.
Its working principle is based on the "ultrasonic cavitation effect": the device generates ultrasonic waves through a high-frequency ultrasonic generator (frequency 15-100kHz), which are focused by a variable amplitude rod and concentrated to transfer energy to the liquid sample. When ultrasound propagates in liquid, countless tiny bubbles (cavitation bubbles) are generated, which rapidly expand and instantly rupture, releasing enormous energy (local temperature can reach 5000K, pressure can reach 100MPa), forming strong shock waves and microjets, crushing and dispersing solid particles, or emulsifying immiscible liquids. The focused design concentrates energy more and improves dispersion efficiency by 3-5 times compared to ordinary ultrasonic dispersers.
In terms of structural design,Focused ultrasonic disperserEmphasize "high energy+controllability". Equipped with an adjustable power ultrasonic generator (power range 100-1500W), suitable for different materials; The amplitude lever is made of titanium alloy material, which is wear-resistant and has high ultrasonic transmission efficiency; Dispersion containers are mostly made of glass or stainless steel materials, supporting samples of different volumes (10mL-10L); Some models come with temperature monitoring and control functions to prevent samples from deteriorating due to ultrasonic heating.
In the application scenario, the key of its nano dispersion ability is: in the field of nano materials, it is used to disperse nano powders (such as titanium dioxide and carbon nanotubes) and prepare stable nano suspensions; The biopharmaceutical industry is used for cell lysis and extraction of proteins and nucleic acids from cells; The coating industry is used for coating dispersion, improving coating uniformity and stability. Attention should be paid to operation and maintenance: the ultrasound time should be adjusted according to the material to avoid excessive ultrasound causing sample damage; The amplitude rod should be inserted below the sample liquid level to avoid damage caused by air burning; Regularly inspect the wear of the amplitude lever and replace it promptly if cracks appear; When cleaning the amplitude lever, wipe it with a soft cloth to avoid scratches.
