The laboratory ultrapure water machine is a device used to prepare high-purity water
Date: 2025-11-25Read: 1
A laboratory ultrapure water machine is a laboratory equipment that uses various purification techniques to remove impurities from water and prepare high-purity water.
Tap water is first pre treated with precision filters and activated carbon filters to remove sediment, particulate matter, and odors. Then it enters the reverse osmosis device for purification and desalination, and the produced water can meet the standard, while the wastewater is discharged. Reverse osmosis pure water is further desalinated through a purification column to obtain ultrapure water. If there are special requirements, ultraviolet sterilization or microfiltration, ultrafiltration and other devices can be added after ultrapure water to remove residual bacteria, particles and heat sources.
The traditional process usually involves "pretreatment system → reverse osmosis system → intermediate water tank → coarse mixing bed → fine mixing bed → pure water tank → pure water pump → ultraviolet sterilizer → polishing mixed bed → precision filter". The new process often adopts similar processes such as "reverse osmosis → intermediate water tank → water pump → EDI device → purified water tank → pure water pump → ultraviolet sterilizer → polishing mixed bed → 0.2 or 0.5 μ m precision filter", further improving water quality through EDI (electro deionization) and other technologies.
Equipped with a complete purification unit, it can produce pure water and ultrapure water using tap water as the inlet. Can accurately set the water intake, freely set from 10 milliliters to 200 liters, and quantify the water intake to 0.1 milliliters. It can also store and query data in real-time through a fully intelligent monitoring system, supporting multiple language modes. The operating interface is usually a true color LCD touch screen, which is convenient and fast.
Daily maintenance:
After daily use, drain the remaining water from the pure water tank to prevent bacterial growth.
When not in use for a long time, the reverse osmosis membrane needs to be soaked in disinfectant or regularly turned on to circulate water to prevent the growth of microorganisms on the membrane surface.
Operating standards:
Avoid using volatile chemicals near the equipment to prevent contamination of the purification unit.
Avoid touching the water intake when taking water to prevent secondary pollution.
