Methods to improve the service life of push-pull force tester test bench
Date: 2025-09-19Read: 1
Here are some methods to improve the service life of the push-pull force gauge test bench:
1. Standardize the operation process
Follow the manual guidance: Strictly follow the equipment's user manual for all operations, ensuring that parameter settings, sample installation, and other aspects meet the regulatory requirements. For example, when installing cutting tools and test samples, it is necessary to ensure that the cutting tool is located directly on the substrate and in correct contact with the chip, and that the direction of applying external force is perpendicular to the boundary of the chip or substrate and parallel to the substrate.
Avoid violent operation: During use, the tested object and the device itself should be treated gently to prevent component damage caused by excessive force or rough movements. For example, do not randomly hit sensitive parts such as probes and buttons of the equipment, and do not cause the tested sample to suddenly fall off and cause impact.
Stable loading and unloading: When conducting tensile, compressive, and other tests, try to maintain a smooth application and release of force to avoid damage to the internal structure of the equipment caused by momentary excessive impact loads. This helps to reduce mechanical wear and fatigue, and extend equipment life.
2. The push-pull force tester pays attention to daily cleaning and protection
Timely cleaning of surface stains: After each use, wipe the surface of the equipment, especially the probe part, with a dry cloth or tissue to remove dust, oil stains, and other impurities. If encountering stubborn dirt, you can dip a small amount of alcohol and gently wipe it, but be careful to prevent alcohol from seeping into the inside of the probe.
Moisture and dust prevention measures are in place: Place the equipment in a dry and ventilated environment, away from water sources and humid areas. When not in use, it is best to cover the device with a dust cover to prevent dust from entering and affecting its normal operation. For equipment that has been idle for a long time, it is also necessary to regularly power on and drive it.
Prevent corrosive substances from corroding: Avoid equipment from coming into contact with corrosive gases, liquids, or other chemicals. If such substances exist in the work environment, corresponding isolation measures should be taken, such as setting up fume hoods or placing equipment in sealed boxes.
3. Carry out regular maintenance and upkeep
Check the status of key components: Regularly check the working condition of key components such as sensors, force measurement systems, ball screws, and synchronous belts to ensure their normal operation. For example, check whether the sensor is accurate and sensitive, whether the ball screw and synchronous belt are loose, worn, etc., and adjust or replace them in a timely manner.
Lubrication of moving parts: According to equipment requirements, regularly add an appropriate amount of lubricating oil or grease to bearings, sliding parts, etc. to reduce friction and wear. However, it is important to choose the appropriate lubricant to avoid blockages or other issues caused by improper use.
Calibration equipment accuracy: In order to ensure the accuracy of test data, the equipment should be calibrated regularly. Standard weights or other standard instruments can be used for calibration to ensure that the measurement error of the equipment is within the allowable range.
Tightening connection parts: Due to equipment vibration and other reasons, some screws, nuts, and other connecting parts may gradually loosen. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly check and tighten these connection parts, especially the screws at the jaw and the tension of the sprocket.
4. Optimization of testing environment conditions for push-pull force tester test bench
Control temperature and humidity range: Try to operate the equipment in a suitable temperature and relative humidity environment. Excessively high or low temperatures, as well as excessive humidity, can affect the performance and lifespan of equipment, and even lead to malfunctions.
Reduce vibration interference: Place the equipment on a stable foundation, away from sources that may generate strong vibrations such as large mechanical equipment and transportation vehicles. If necessary, shock-absorbing pads can be used to further reduce the impact of vibration on the equipment.
Eliminate electromagnetic interference: Avoid strong electromagnetic fields around the equipment to prevent interference with its electronic control system, which can affect the accuracy of test results and the stability of the equipment.
5. Reasonable storage and handling
Proper storage of equipment: When the equipment is not in use for a long time, it should be stored properly. You can choose a dry, cool, and well ventilated place, and restore the various components of the equipment to their initial positions, relaxing elastic elements such as ropes and springs.
Careful handling and transfer: When handling equipment, be careful and handle with care to avoid collisions and tipping. If long-distance transportation is required, appropriate packaging protection measures should also be taken to prevent equipment from being damaged during transportation.
