Introduction to the function and working principle of the push-pull force tester test bench
Date: 2025-09-22Read: 0
What are the functions of the push-pull force tester?
1. Quality inspection and control: In the production process of various products, it can be used to test the push-pull load capacity of components, finished products, etc., to ensure that their strength meets design standards and quality requirements. For example, in the electronics and electrical industry, it is possible to conduct insertion and extraction force tests on components such as connectors and buttons to ensure the normal use and reliability of the product; In the field of architectural hardware, it can detect the load-bearing capacity and durability of door locks, hinges, etc.
2. R&D support: Assist researchers in evaluating the mechanical properties of new materials and designs. By accurately measuring the push-pull force data under different conditions, a basis is provided for optimizing and improving the product, thereby developing higher quality and more reasonable product structures and material formulas.
3. Standard compliance verification: used to verify whether products meet the mechanical indicators specified in relevant industry standards or specifications, enabling enterprises to prove the quality compliance of their products and enhance market competitiveness.
4. Fault analysis and diagnosis: When there are quality problems with the product, a testing bench can be used to find the cause. If a component is prone to damage during actual use, it can be repaired or improved by simulating the push-pull force test under actual working conditions to identify weak links and develop targeted repair or improvement plans.
5. Production process monitoring: Installed on the production line to monitor real-time changes in product performance during the production process, promptly identify quality issues caused by process fluctuations, facilitate adjustment of production parameters, and maintain stable production quality.
The working principle of the push-pull force gauge test bench:
1. Transmission mechanism: responsible for generating thrust or tension applied to the sample. It usually consists of components such as a motor, a screw, and a nut. The motor drives the screw to rotate, causing the nut to move in a straight line along the screw, and then drives the connected moving device and the push-pull force gauge installed on it to move synchronously, achieving the application of force to the measured object.
2. Sensor: used to measure the displacement generated by the sample and the magnitude of the force applied. Common types of sensors include strain gauges. When subjected to external forces, the strain gauges inside the sensor deform, causing a change in resistance value. This is then converted into an electrical signal output through a circuit, which is proportional to the force applied.
3. Control system: As the core control part, responsible for setting test parameters such as force magnitude, speed, displacement, etc., and controlling the entire testing process. It receives signals from sensors and drives the transmission mechanism to perform corresponding actions according to preset program instructions, while monitoring and adjusting the testing process.
4. Data processing system: Receive data from the control system, process and analyze it to evaluate mechanical performance indicators such as strength, elastic modulus, stress-strain relationship, etc. of the sample. The test results can be displayed in the form of numbers, charts, etc., which facilitates users to intuitively understand the performance characteristics of the tested object, and can be used for data storage, printing, and other operations, providing reference for subsequent research and application.
