Yellowing resistance test chamberIt is a testing equipment used to simulate the yellowing process of materials in environments such as light and high temperature, and is widely used for quality inspection in industries such as leather, plastics, coatings, and textiles.
The yellowing resistance of materials is mainly evaluated through the following methods:
Ultraviolet irradiation method: Use UV-A (340nm) or UV-B (313nm) ultraviolet lamps to simulate sunlight irradiation, and the testing period is usually 48-200 hours.
High temperature oven method: Place the sample in a constant temperature environment of 70-120 ℃ to evaluate the oxidation yellowing of the material at high temperatures.
Ozone exposure method: For materials such as rubber, test for yellowing in an environment with an ozone concentration of 50-200pphm.
The operation process of the yellowing resistance test box mainly consists of three core steps: equipment preparation, parameter setting, and start-up testing. Here are the specific operation guidelines:
1、 Equipment preparation
Install the light bulb:
Twist the 300W anti yellowing bulb onto the lamp holder in a spiral manner to ensure good contact.
Adjust the height of the turntable:
Loosen the fixing screw of the turntable, adjust the turntable to a distance of 250mm from the bottom of the bulb (industry standard), and tighten the screw.
Place the sample:
Lay the sample (such as shoe sole, leather) face up on the turntable, 50-150mm away from the center of the turntable, to avoid overlapping or approaching the edges of the sample.
Parameter settings:
Temperature setting:
Press the 'Set' button on the controller and adjust the temperature to 50 ℃ (common test temperature) using the directional keys.
Time setting:
Set the testing time on the timer (such as 24 hours for fabric and 12 hours for substrate).
Security protection:
The over temperature protection temperature should be 20-30 ℃ higher than the set temperature (if 50 ℃ is set, the protection temperature should be adjusted to 70-80 ℃).
Start testing:
Turn on the power:
Connect the 220V power supply, and the power indicator light will turn on.
Start device:
Press the 'yellow resistant switch' to light up the bulb;
Press the 'start button' to start running, and the turntable rotates synchronously.
Monitoring status:
The flashing heating indicator light indicates that the temperature is rising, and it will automatically time after stabilizing;
The voltmeter displays real-time voltage, and if there is an abnormality, the alarm light will light up and the test needs to be interrupted.
