The main components and daily maintenance of vacuum friction and wear testing machine
Date: 2025-11-21Read: 0
The vacuum friction and wear testing machine evaluates the performance of materials under harsh conditions by simulating the friction and wear process in a vacuum environment. The core principle is to use a vacuum chamber to isolate the external environment, combined with the relative motion and load control of the friction pair, to measure parameters such as friction coefficient and wear amount.
By simulating a vacuum environment, two or more sample surfaces are brought into contact and rubbed against each other under set parameters such as pressure, speed, and time. The internal measurement and control system of the testing machine monitors and records parameters such as friction, temperature, and wear in real time to evaluate the friction and wear performance of the material.
Main components
Vacuum chamber: used to create and maintain a vacuum environment required for experiments, in order to reduce the influence of external factors on the test results.
Loading system: Provide the required load for the experiment to simulate the stress situation under actual working conditions. The loading system usually has the characteristics of high precision and programmable control, which can accurately control the loading force and loading mode.
Friction system: composed of friction pairs, it is the main part where friction and wear occur. There are various forms of friction pairs, such as pin disc friction pairs, ball disc friction pairs, etc., which can be selected according to experimental needs.
Monitoring system: used for real-time monitoring and recording of friction force, friction coefficient, wear amount and other parameters during the test process, in order to evaluate the friction and wear performance of materials.
Electrical measurement and control system: responsible for the electrical control of the entire testing machine, including functions such as start, stop, speed regulation, and data acquisition.
maintenance
Daily cleaning: After each test, wipe the body with a soft cloth to remove dust and residue. Prohibit corrosive cleaning agents to prevent damage to the surface of machine parts.
Dust and sun protection: When not in use, cover the equipment with a dust cover to prevent dust and soil from entering. Meanwhile, pay attention to sun protection and avoid prolonged exposure of equipment to sunlight.
Regular inspection: Regularly check whether the fasteners, wires, etc. of the equipment are loose or aging, and replace damaged parts in a timely manner.
Lubrication and maintenance: Regularly lubricate guide rails, gears, and other parts to maintain the flexibility of moving parts.
Professional maintenance: Regularly invite professional technicians to inspect and maintain the testing machine to ensure its long-term stable operation.
