Steam flat vulcanizing machines are widely used in the production of rubber and plastic products

A steam flat vulcanizing machine is a device that uses steam heating technology to vulcanize rubber products at specific temperatures and pressures. It is widely used in the production process of rubber products such as tires, hoses, seals, and conveyor belts.
The high-temperature steam generated by the equipment through the steam boiler is passed into the flow channel inside the heating plate, causing the plate to quickly heat up to the set vulcanization temperature. Subsequently, the hydraulic system drives the movable plate to apply pressure upwards, exerting stable pressure on the rubber or plastic materials placed inside the mold. Under the combined action of high temperature and high pressure, the raw materials undergo sulfurization reaction (cross-linking solidification) or physical molding. After reaching the set time, the hydraulic system is depressurized, the flat plate is cooled, and the molded product is taken out.
The working principle of steam flat vulcanizing machine is based on steam heating technology and hot pressing forming technology:
Heating process: Steam enters the upper and lower plates of the vulcanizing machine through pipelines, and utilizes the high temperature characteristics of steam to evenly transfer heat to the rubber products placed between the plates.
Pressure application: While heating, the upper and lower plates apply pressure to the rubber product to ensure that the rubber material uniformly expands and fills the mold space when heated, forming the desired shape and density. Pressure can also help eliminate air and volatile compounds in rubber, reducing internal defects in finished products.
Vulcanization reaction: When rubber products are heated to a specific vulcanization temperature (depending on the rubber type and formula), cross-linking reactions occur between rubber molecules, forming a three-dimensional network structure that significantly enhances the physical properties of rubber (such as strength, elasticity, and durability).
The steam flat vulcanizing machine consists of multiple core components that work together to achieve the vulcanization process:
Rack: As a supporting structure for equipment, it ensures overall stability.
Heating chamber: equipped with steam pipes and upper and lower plates inside, it is a key area for heat transfer.
Electric system: drives the oil pump and adjusts the pressure to provide power for the hydraulic system.
Hydraulic system: Pressure is generated by hydraulic cylinders to ensure that rubber products are uniformly compressed during the vulcanization process.
Electronic control system: responsible for overall control and monitoring, including real-time adjustment of parameters such as temperature and pressure.
