Calibration steps for silicate analyzer
Date: 2025-10-24Read: 0
Silicate analyzerThe calibration steps usually include preparing standard solutions, cleaning colorimetric dishes, performing lower and upper limit calibration, repeating calibration verification, and recording calibration values. The following are detailed instructions:
Prepare standard solution: Prepare SiO ₂ standard concentration color solution according to the method in the appendix, such as 0 μ g/L (pour in 0) and 150 μ g/L solution, as the lower and upper nominal values, respectively.
Cleaning the colorimetric dish: Rinse the colorimetric dish thoroughly to ensure that there are no residues interfering with the measurement.
Lower limit calibration: inject the 'back dosing 0' color developing solution into the sample injection tank twice, drain it for the first time, wait until the second display value is stable, adjust the 'lower limit' knob to make the display value be 00.0, and drain it again after it is stable.
Upper limit calibration: inject 150 μ g/L color developing solution into the cuvette twice and drain it for the first time. After the second display value is stable, adjust the 'upper limit' knob to make the display value 150.0, and drain it again after it is stable.
Repeat calibration verification: Rinse the colorimetric dish twice with Grade I reagent water and drain it. Repeat the above calibration steps until the lower limit is displayed as 0.0 and the upper limit is displayed as 150.0 (with a tolerance of ± 0.2 error).
Record calibration value: Inject Grade I reagent water again, stabilize and read the new index value. Press the 'Calibration' button to read the new index value, and record the result as the subsequent adjustment reference.
