Powder comprehensive characteristic testerIt is a multifunctional laboratory equipment used for comprehensive evaluation of the physical properties of powders, widely used in fields such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food, battery materials, ceramics, metal powders, and 3D printing. This instrument can systematically and standardizedly measure key parameters such as flowability, compressibility, breathability, bulk density, tap density, angle of repose, and dispersibility of powders, providing scientific basis for powder process design, formula optimization, quality control, and storage and transportation. It adopts fully automated operation and touch screen human-machine interface. Users only need to select the test item, and the system can automatically complete the feeding, vibration, measurement, and result calculation according to the preset program, and generate electronic reports that meet GMP/GLP requirements. The data can be exported to a PC or integrated into the LIMS system, supporting audit tracking and permission management to meet the compliance requirements of industries such as pharmaceuticals.
Powder comprehensive characteristic testerIts structure usually adopts modular design, which can be flexibly configured according to testing projects. The main components are as follows:
1、 Host rack and control system
Integral bracket/base: High rigidity metal structure ensures stable testing process and reduces vibration interference.
Control panel or embedded industrial computer:
Equipped with touch screen or button operation interface;
Built in microprocessor to control the operation of various testing modules;
Support parameter settings (such as vibration frequency, feeding height, testing mode, etc.);
Automatically calculate and display results (such as angle of repose, Carr index, Hausner ratio, etc.).
2、 Liquidity testing module
Angle of repose measuring device
Adjustable funnel+fixed chassis;
Automatic measurement of cone angle by laser or image recognition system (some high-end models);
Manual ruler disk (basic model).
Hall flowmeter components
Standard aperture funnel (such as 2.5mm and 5.0mm aperture specified in ISO 4490/ASTM B213);
Bracket and feeding cup;
Equipped with a stopwatch or automatic timing sensor.
3、 Density and compressibility testing module
Bulk Density Test Components
Standard measuring cylinder (such as 25mL, 50mL, 100mL);
Fix the funnel or guide tube to ensure that the powder falls freely into the measuring cylinder.
Tapped Density Testing Device
Electric vibration table: can set amplitude (usually 3mm), frequency (such as 300 times/minute), and vibration frequency (such as 100, 500, 1250 times);
Multi station fixture, capable of simultaneously fixing multiple measuring cylinders;
Automatic stop and height reading (some models come with displacement sensors).
4、 Breathability/specific surface area auxiliary module (some high-end models)
Breathability ratio surface area testing attachment (such as based on Fisher Sub Sieve Sizer principle);
Gas path system, pressure sensor, flow meter, etc. (used to measure the permeability of the powder bed).
