Powder comprehensive characteristic testerIt is a multifunctional laboratory equipment used for comprehensive evaluation of the physical properties of powders, widely used in fields such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food, battery materials, ceramics, metal powders, and 3D printing. This instrument can systematically and standardizedly measure key parameters such as flowability, compressibility, breathability, bulk density, tap density, angle of repose, and dispersibility of powders, providing scientific basis for powder process design, formula optimization, quality control, and storage and transportation. It adopts fully automated operation and touch screen human-machine interface. Users only need to select the test item, and the system can automatically complete the feeding, vibration, measurement, and result calculation according to the preset program, and generate electronic reports that meet GMP/GLP requirements. The data can be exported to a PC or integrated into the LIMS system, supporting audit tracking and permission management to meet the compliance requirements of industries such as pharmaceuticals.
Powder comprehensive characteristic testerMaintenance techniques:
1、 Daily maintenance after use
Timely clean the residual samples
After each test, use a soft bristled brush, dust-free cloth, or compressed air to remove any powder residue from components such as funnels, measuring cylinders, vibration tables, and angle plates.
Avoid direct rinsing with water or organic solvents (unless permitted by the instructions) to prevent corrosion or impact on the sensor.
Check the status of key components
Check whether the inner wall of the funnel is smooth and free of scratches (affecting fluidity testing).
Confirm that the scale of the measuring cylinder is clear and free of cracks.
Observe whether the vibration platform is level and whether the fixing bolts are loose.
Turn off the power and reset
After the test is completed, turn off the instrument power and return the movable parts (such as the angle of repose platform and funnel bracket) to their original positions to avoid accidental collisions.
2、 Regular maintenance (recommended after monthly or every 50 tests)
Calibration and Verification
Regularly verify the repeatability and accuracy of the instrument using standard reference powders such as microcrystalline cellulose and glass microspheres.
Calibrate the electronic balance (if integrated), angle sensor, and vibration frequency/amplitude according to the manufacturer's requirements or measurement regulations.
Lubrication and fastening
Add a small amount of precision instrument lubricating oil (such as silicon-based grease) to mechanical moving parts (such as lifting brackets and rotating joints) to avoid dry grinding.
Check and tighten all screws and connectors to prevent loosening due to vibration.
Sensor and electrical system inspection
Clean the dust on the surface of the photoelectric switch and position sensor.
Check for aging or damage to the power and signal cables.
3、 Long term storage or maintenance without use
Thoroughly clean and dry
Disassemble and clean all parts that come into contact with the powder (if allowed), and assemble them after drying to prevent mold or clumping.
Dustproof and Moistureproof
Cover the entire machine with a dust cover and store it in a dry, constant temperature, and non corrosive gas environment.
Desiccant (such as silica gel) can be placed inside the instrument cabinet.
Regularly power on
If it is not used for a long time (>1 month), it is recommended to run it on power for 10-15 minutes every month to prevent electronic components from getting damp and aging.
