Integral sphere turbidity meterUniform collection of optical signals is achieved through the use of an integrating sphere structure. Scattered and transmitted light are collected using an integrating sphere, and the turbidity value is determined by calculating the ratio of the two.
Integral sphere turbidity meterApplication scenarios:
1. Drinking water safety monitoring: in compliance with relevant standards, used for real-time monitoring of turbidity in the factory water and pipeline water of water plants, ensuring turbidity ≤ 1 NTU.
2. Industrial process control:
Food and beverage industry: Monitor the turbidity of processes such as beer filtration and juice clarification to control product transparency.
Pharmaceutical industry: Compliant with GMP requirements, used for turbidity detection in injection water, drug preparation and other processes to prevent microbial contamination.
Electronics industry: Detect particle contamination in ultra pure water (UPW) to ensure a resistivity>18 M Ω· cm, meeting the needs of semiconductor manufacturing.
3. Environmental monitoring and scientific research:
Wastewater treatment: Monitor the turbidity of the effluent from the sewage treatment plant, evaluate the effects of flocculation, sedimentation, filtration and other processes, and guide the optimization of the dosage of chemicals.
Water research: Analyze the degree of eutrophication and suspended solids sources in lakes and rivers by combining parameters such as chromaticity and absorbance.
Operating standards:
1. Calibration cycle: It is recommended to calibrate with standard turbidity solution once a week and perform multi-point calibration to verify linearity every month.
2. Sample processing: The water sample should be stirred evenly before measurement to avoid settling of large particles; High turbidity samples can be diluted for detection, but the dilution factor needs to be recorded.
3. Environmental control: Avoid direct sunlight on the sample slot to prevent stray light interference; The measurement environment temperature should be controlled between 5-40 ℃ and the relative humidity should be less than 85%.
