Operation and use of stainless steel glass rotor flowmeter:
1. When using a flow meter, the upstream valve should be slowly opened to full open first, and then the flow rate should be adjusted using the downstream regulating valve of the flow meter. When the flow meter is stopped, the upstream valve of the flow meter should be slowly closed first, and then the flow regulating valve downstream of the flow meter should be closed.
2. The flowmeter must wait for the float to stabilize before reading the reading. Float reading position: The reading position is at the maximum diameter of the float.
3. During use, sudden changes in the temperature and pressure of the fluid being measured should be avoided. Prevent the cone tube from breaking and injuring people.
4. If the cone tube or float is contaminated, it should be cleaned in a timely manner.
5. If there is any damage to the working diameter and measuring sharp edges of the float, they should be recalibrated.
6. When disassembling the flowmeter, one should be familiar with its structure, especially when disassembling the cover and support plate bolts, uniform force should be applied to prevent breaking the cone tube.
7. When the density, temperature, pressure, and division state of the fluid passing through the flowmeter are different (i.e. standard state), the displayed values must be corrected.
8. The flow meter in use should be checked regularly. If leakage is found, the flow meter should be depressurized first, and then the cover should be evenly tightened to avoid over tightening and crushing the cone tube.

The scale of the stainless steel glass rotor flowmeter is calibrated using water and dry air, which are close to ideal fluids, under the conditions of our factory production. But in the use of flow meters, there are two situations where their scale values cannot be directly used: one is when the measuring medium is not water and air, and the other is when the measuring medium is water and air, but its state (temperature, pressure) is different from the scale state. In this way, when using a flow meter, there is a problem of needing to correct the scale values in order to obtain accurate measurement results. Therefore, solving the calibration correction of glass rotor flow meters is the key to using this type of instrument effectively.
