Proportional water quality samplerIt is a high-precision water sample collection instrument based on the principle of proportionality, which achieves accurate sampling of different components in water by controlling the flow ratio inside the sampler. It uses two or more flow control devices to collect water samples of different flow rates according to a preset proportional relationship, and then mixes these water samples to form a sampling sample representing the overall water body. Widely used in fields such as environmental monitoring, water conservancy engineering, and water quality evaluation. It is suitable for environmental monitoring stations, supervisory agencies, research institutes, water affairs, municipal and sewage treatment plants at all levels, to automatically sample water samples from industrial pollution source discharge outlets, rivers, lakes, seas and other sources.
Proportional water quality samplerScope of application:
1、 Environmental monitoring and pollution control
Surface water and groundwater monitoring
Rivers, lakes, and reservoirs: Long term monitoring of changes in the concentration of pollutants such as chemical oxygen demand (COD), ammonia nitrogen, and heavy metals in water bodies to assess their self purification capacity and pollution trends.
Groundwater sampling: In groundwater pollution investigations, sampling is conducted in layers according to depth or time to analyze the migration patterns of pollutants and provide a basis for remediation plans.
Emergency monitoring: In case of sudden pollution incidents (such as chemical spills or algal outbreaks), quickly initiate proportional sampling to capture pollution peaks and assist decision-making.
Operation monitoring of sewage treatment plant
Inlet and outlet sampling: Continuously collect inlet and outlet water samples from the sewage treatment plant, monitor treatment efficiency, and ensure compliance with discharge standards.
Process optimization: By analyzing water samples from different time periods, adjusting parameters such as aeration time and dosage of chemicals, operating costs can be reduced.
Monitoring of sewage outlets and industrial wastewater
Enterprise emissions outlets: Conduct proportional sampling of emissions outlets from high polluting industries such as chemical, electroplating, and papermaking to verify whether the enterprise is discharging in accordance with the permit requirements.
Rainwater pipe network monitoring: Collect early rainwater samples during the rainy season to analyze whether they carry industrial pollutants and prevent illegal discharge.
2、 Research experiments and data analysis
Research on Water Environment Science
Long term ecological research: Collect water samples according to seasonal or flow changes in ecosystems such as lakes and wetlands to study long-term effects such as nutrient cycling and biological toxicity.
Model validation: Provide measured data for water quality models (such as SWMM, QUAL2K), calibrate model parameters, and improve prediction accuracy.
New pollutant screening
Microplastics and drug residues: Capture the instantaneous concentration of new pollutants in water bodies through high-frequency sampling (such as once per hour) and assess their environmental risks.
Endocrine disruptor monitoring: For low concentration and highly toxic pollutants, proportional sampling can avoid missed detections caused by long sampling intervals in traditional methods.
3、 Water Resource Management and Protection
Protection of drinking water sources
Reservoir and river intake: Continuously monitor the water quality of the water source area to ensure water supply safety. For example, during the algae breeding season, encrypted sampling can be carried out to promptly warn of the risk of blue-green algae toxins.
Cross regional water transfer project: In projects such as the South to North Water Transfer, sampling points are set up along the way to monitor changes in water quality and ensure water supply safety.
Agricultural and Fishery Water Management
Irrigation water for farmland: Collect irrigation water samples, analyze pesticide and fertilizer residues, and prevent soil pollution.
Monitoring of aquaculture water bodies: Install samplers in fish ponds and shrimp ponds to monitor dissolved oxygen, ammonia nitrogen, and other indicators to prevent aquaculture diseases.
4、 Industrial Process Control and Optimization
Monitoring of cooling water system
Cooling towers in power plants and chemical plants: Collect cooling water samples, monitor corrosion rate and microbial growth, and optimize the dosing plan of water treatment agents.
Water conservation management: By analyzing the quality of circulating water, adjusting the frequency of discharge, and reducing the amount of fresh water supply.
Food and Beverage Industry
Production water monitoring: Collect water samples from key links in beer and beverage production lines to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
Wastewater reuse: Monitor the quality of recycled water and evaluate whether it can be used for non direct contact processes such as cleaning and cooling.
5、 Special scenario applications
Extreme environmental monitoring
High salinity water bodies: In environments such as seawater and salt lakes, use corrosion-resistant samplers to monitor indicators such as salinity and heavy metals.
Low temperature environment: In areas such as the Arctic and high mountains, antifreeze design samplers are used to study the impact of climate change on water quality.
Mobile monitoring platform
Unmanned vessel/drone carrying: Integrating samplers onto unmanned vessels or drones to achieve large-scale and rapid water quality sampling, suitable for disaster emergency or hard to reach areas.
Vehicle mounted mobile laboratory: equipped with samplers in environmental law enforcement vehicles to collect and analyze water samples on site, improving law enforcement efficiency.
