Proportional water quality samplerIt is a high-precision water sample collection instrument based on the principle of proportionality, which achieves accurate sampling of different components in water by controlling the flow ratio inside the sampler. It uses two or more flow control devices to collect water samples of different flow rates according to a preset proportional relationship, and then mixes these water samples to form a sampling sample representing the overall water body. Widely used in fields such as environmental monitoring, water conservancy engineering, and water quality evaluation. It is suitable for environmental monitoring stations, supervisory agencies, research institutes, water affairs, municipal and sewage treatment plants at all levels, to automatically sample water samples from industrial pollution source discharge outlets, rivers, lakes, seas and other sources.
Proportional water quality samplerMaintenance Guide:
1、 Daily maintenance
Appearance and environmental inspection
Check the casing and surrounding environment of the sampler daily to ensure that there is no accumulation of dust or dirt, and to avoid affecting heat dissipation and normal operation.
Clean up the debris around the sampler, maintain good ventilation, and prevent equipment failure due to environmental issues.
Cleaning of sampling head
Regularly clean the sampling head to prevent blockage. The cleaning cycle can be determined based on the actual water sample situation, and it is generally recommended to clean at least once a week.
Clean the sampling head with a damp sponge and mild detergent, avoiding the use of abrasive cleaning agents to prevent damage to the sampling head.
Sample Room and Sample Bottle Cleaning
Before and after each sampling, clean the interior and exterior of the sample room with a damp sponge and mild detergent to ensure that there are no residues that may affect the next sampling.
Clean the sample bottle with a brush and mild detergent, then rinse with clean water and distilled water in sequence to ensure the cleanliness of the sample bottle.
Pipeline cleaning
Use mild detergent or other cleaning liquids to clean the pipeline by pumping it through, ensuring that the pipeline is unobstructed.
During cleaning, the manual mode of the sampler can be used for easy operation and monitoring.
2、 Key component maintenance
Peristaltic pump tube maintenance
Regularly check the elasticity, wear resistance, airtightness and other properties of the peristaltic pump tube to ensure that the pump tube is in good condition.
If there are large particles of hard impurities in the pipeline, a sampling filter probe should be installed at the front end of the sampling pipeline to prevent damage to the peristaltic tube.
When the pump tube ruptures or fails, it should be replaced with a similar peristaltic tube and other types of tubes should be avoided to prevent permanent damage to the peristaltic pump.
The replacement cycle is related to the frequency of instrument use, and it is generally recommended to replace it once every quarter.
Sampling pump maintenance
Sampling pumps do not require daily lubrication and maintenance. Avoid using grease, silicone grease, oil, or other lubricants to reduce the lifespan of pump tubing and rotor components.
Regularly check the operation status of the sampling pump to ensure there is no abnormal noise or vibration.
Sports organization maintenance
For equipment with moving mechanisms such as inspection well water quality samplers, it is necessary to regularly check the lubrication of moving parts such as sliders at the X/Y axis.
The interval between adding lubricating grease should not exceed one month. Use a syringe to insert into the oil hole of the slider and add grease until it overflows.
3、 Long term discontinuation and resumption of use
Long term suspension measures
When the proportional water quality sampler is not used for a long time, the pump tube should be removed to avoid prolonged compression that may cause adhesion and blockage.
If the pump tube is not removed, it may cause changes in flow rate and increased resistance, making it difficult to start.
Store the equipment in a dry, ventilated, and dark environment to prevent moisture, corrosion, or damage to the equipment.
Preparation for resuming use
When resuming use, the sampler should be thoroughly rinsed to remove any remaining impurities and residual water from the water sample.
During the rinsing process, samples can be repeatedly taken to ensure that the interior of the sampler is clean and free of residue.
Check whether all components of the equipment are intact and ensure that the equipment can operate normally.
4、 Regular calibration and verification
Daily inspection
At least one on-site inspection should be conducted every three months, which can be automatically or manually calibrated.
The inspection includes key indicators such as sampling accuracy, flow stability, and time control accuracy.
Supervision and verification
The installed proportional sampler must be calibrated regularly and the results of the calibration should be reported to the corresponding environmental protection administrative department.
Regular verification is undertaken by qualified monitoring agencies to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the verification results.
