1. Cleaning water bath:
After use, promptly drain the water from the tank and wipe the tank wall with a soft cloth (avoid using hard brushes or corrosive cleaning agents to prevent scratching the stainless steel surface);
If used for a long time (such as more than 1 week), it is necessary to change the water bath water once a week (it is recommended to use deionized water or distilled water to avoid the formation of scale caused by calcium and magnesium ions in tap water, which may adhere to the heating tube or sensor and affect the heating efficiency and temperature detection accuracy).
2. Cleaning trays and fixtures:
After removing the culture container, wipe the surface of the tray with a damp cloth. If any samples are spilled, disinfect them with 75% alcohol to prevent cross contamination.
3. Check the water level and wiring:
Before each use, confirm that the water level in the water bath is above the "* low water level line" to avoid dry burning;
Check if the power cord and plug are damaged, and if there is any abnormal noise or leakage in the equipment casing.
Common faults and solutions:
Large temperature fluctuations: Check the heating element or PID parameter settings, and replace the sensor if necessary.
Abnormal oscillation: Check the wear of the motor transmission mechanism or belt, and replace damaged parts in a timely manner.
Leakage issue: Check the sealing of the liquid level sensor and drain valve, and tighten the connection.
