Why do others have such a long service life for the same new standard cement flexural and compressive integrated machine?
Date: 2025-10-16Read: 1
New standard cement flexural and compressive integrated machineUsed to measure the flexural and compressive properties of cement mortar, some similar equipment may experience accuracy degradation and hydraulic system oil leakage after 3 years of use, while others can operate stably for more than 10 years. The key to the difference in lifespan lies in the detailed management and standardized operation in daily use.
Core difference one: Precise control of loading system
When subjected to compressive/flexural loading, the stability of the oil cylinder piston and the accuracy of the sensor directly affect the service life of the equipment. Standard operating requirements: The loading rate should be strictly set according to the standard (compressive resistance 2400 ± 200N/s, flexural resistance 50 ± 10N/s), and the operator needs to fine tune it through the speed control valve (direct coarse adjustment is prohibited from causing hydraulic shock). However, incorrect operation (such as quickly applying pressure to full range) can cause the cylinder seal ring (made of nitrile rubber material) to withstand instantaneous high pressure (>25MPa), accelerating wear (shortening the service life by 50%). Long life users will regularly calibrate sensors with standard force gauges (accuracy ± 1%) (once every six months) to ensure that the displayed value deviates from the actual loading force by less than ± 1%, avoiding sensor fatigue failure caused by long-term out of tolerance operation.
Core difference 2: Quality and replacement cycle of hydraulic oil
Hydraulic oil is the "blood" of power transmission, and its cleanliness and viscosity directly affect the service life of oil pumps and valves. High quality users change the hydraulic oil every 6 months (using ISO VG 46 anti-wear hydraulic oil, viscosity index>90), and synchronously clean the oil tank and filter (removing iron filings and impurities) to prevent impurities from wearing the plunger pump (precision components, clearance only 0.01-0.03mm). Neglecting maintenance of equipment and not changing hydraulic oil for 2-3 years (oil emulsification, water content>0.1%) can lead to a decrease in oil pump efficiency (flow loss>15%), ultimately resulting in insufficient pressure (measured<20MPa) and inability to complete standard loading. In addition, the oil pipe joints need to be checked quarterly (tightening torque 15-20N · m) to avoid oil leakage (oil leakage can cause the oil level in the tank to be too low, exacerbating pump body wear).

Core difference three: specimen clamping and alignment specifications
When placing the test piece (40mm × 40mm × 160mm adhesive sand test block), it must be strictly aligned with the anti bending fixture (distance between cylindrical supports 100mm ± 0.5mm) or the compression fixture (parallelism between upper and lower pressure plates<0.05mm). Non standardized operation (such as specimen deviation>1 °) can lead to uneven stress distribution (local stress concentration), causing local wear (depth>0.2mm) of the pressure plate (45 steel material) or support (cast iron material), which in turn affects the testing accuracy (flexural strength deviation>± 5%). Long life users will use specialized centering tools (such as a dial gauge to calibrate parallelism) and gently tap the specimen after clamping (to eliminate gaps) to ensure even force distribution.
Core Difference Four: Environment and Daily Maintenance
The equipment should be placed in an environment with a temperature of 20 ± 5 ℃ and humidity<80%, avoiding direct sunlight. Clean the table debris after daily use, apply lithium based grease to the screw every week, and check the anchor bolts every quarter to prevent equipment displacement. These details, when accumulated, can extend the lifespan of the core components of the device by 3-5 years, truly achieving "value for money, long-lasting use".
