The scientific maintenance of concrete coring machines is the core link to ensure efficient operation and extend the service life of the equipment. Based on the structural characteristics of the equipment and practical operational requirements, the following systematically elaborates on maintenance points from four dimensions: daily maintenance, core component maintenance, fault prevention, and long-term storage management:
1、 Daily basic maintenance standards
Cleaning Management
After each assignment, it is necessary to remove the mud and debris on the surface of the machine, with a focus on cleaning the moving parts areas such as the slide, column rack, etc.
Lubrication system guarantee
Threaded connection: Before installing the drill bit, evenly apply lithium based grease to the two threaded connection surfaces to reduce friction loss.
Transmission system: The column and rack are lubricated with mechanical oil every month; The gearbox should be replaced with lithium grease every six months to avoid gear wear caused by grease deterioration.
Bearing parts: Check the cleanliness and sealing of lubricating oil for rotating bearings, rolling mill bearings, all gears, movable bearings, and sliding surfaces to ensure that no impurities penetrate.
Tightness check
Check the rack adjustment screws, expansion bolts, and gearbox fasteners weekly to prevent loosening caused by vibration. Newly installed wheels need to be inspected daily as they are prone to loosening in the early stages.
2、 Deep maintenance of core functional components
Drill bit full cycle management
Passivation repair: When the cutting efficiency decreases (such as the drainage color becoming clearer or the cutting depth slowing down), use a white corundum grinding wheel to polish the end face to restore sharpness, and avoid using a hammer to strike.
Core jamming treatment: In case of core jamming, immediately stop the machine and lightly tap the steel body of the drill bit with a rubber hammer. It is strictly prohibited to use iron tools to prevent damage to the thin-walled structure.
Power and cooling system
Gasoline engine maintenance: Regularly check the oil dipstick to ensure that the fuel level is moderate; If it is not used for a long time, the residual oil in the carburetor needs to be drained to avoid gum blockage.
Water cooling cycle: Ensure a water supply of 3~4L/min during operation, and immediately stop the machine for maintenance of the water jacket sealing ring if water leakage is found.
4、 Long term storage and restart process
Rust prevention treatment
Spray anti rust oil after cleaning, paying special attention to the exposed surfaces of metal such as racks and screws.
Disassemble the drill bit and store it separately in a dry environment to avoid colliding with the cutting edge.
Through the above systematic maintenance strategy, the equipment can always maintain optimal working conditions, providing reliable data support for engineering quality control.
