The alloy material analyzer is mainly based on X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy (XRF) analysis technology. Its working principle is as follows:
1. X-ray excitation: The X-ray tube in the instrument produces primary X-rays. These X-rays have sufficient energy, and when they are irradiated onto the surface of the alloy sample, they will interact with the atoms in the sample.
2. Fluorescence generation: After absorbing the energy of primary X-rays, atoms in the sample will be excited to a high-energy state. When these excited atoms return to the ground state, they will release X-ray fluorescence with a specified energy. Due to their different atomic structures, atoms of different elements emit fluorescent X-rays with varying energies and wavelengths.
3. Spectral analysis: The detector can capture these fluorescent X-rays and convert them into electrical signals. Then, by analyzing and processing the electrical signal, the intensity and wavelength information of fluorescent X-rays can be obtained. Based on the known characteristic spectral lines of elements, the types of elements contained in the sample can be determined. Meanwhile, the intensity of fluorescent X-rays is directly proportional to the content of corresponding elements in the sample. By establishing calibration curves and other methods, quantitative analysis of element content can be achieved.
Measurement steps of alloy material analyzer:
-Check the equipment: Ensure that the appearance of the instrument is intact, the battery is fully charged, and all accessories (such as probes, data cables, calibration samples, etc.) are complete.
-Cleaning samples: Clean the surface of the test sample to remove impurities such as grease, dust, and coatings, ensuring that the testing area is smooth and even. For multi-layer materials, it is necessary to analyze them layer by layer; If there is a coating or plating on the surface of the sample, it needs to be cleaned first.
-Environment selection: Conduct testing in a dust-free, strong light interference free, vibration free, and suitable temperature environment to avoid external factors affecting the results.
-Start the instrument: Press the power button, wait for the device to complete self-test, and enter standby mode.
-Calibration equipment: Use standard samples for calibration to ensure that the instrument is in good working condition. The calibration frequency can be determined based on the usage frequency and detection requirements.
-Place the sample: Fix the sample on a dedicated fixture or a stable table to ensure its stability and stability.
-Selection mode: Choose the appropriate analysis mode based on the sample type (such as stainless steel, aluminum alloy, precious metals, etc.).
-Start detection: Align the probe with the surface of the sample to ensure good contact, press the detection button, and the instrument will complete the analysis within a few seconds.
-Viewing data: The instrument screen will display the concentration of each metal element in the sample, supporting simultaneous analysis of multiple elements.
-Save results: Save the detection data to the instrument memory or transfer it to a computer or mobile device via Wi Fi/Bluetooth for subsequent analysis and report generation.
