Data storage and result analysis
Data saving and export: Save measurement data to the internal memory or external storage device of the instrument for subsequent reference and processing. Meanwhile, most laser particle size analyzers also support exporting data to Excel, PDF, and other formats, making it convenient for users to use other software for more detailed data analysis and report writing.
Result analysis: Based on the measured particle size distribution data, the particle size characteristics of the sample can be analyzed, such as the size range and distribution uniformity of the particles. For example, if the particle size distribution curve is narrow, it indicates that the particle size of the sample is relatively uniform; If the curve is wide, it indicates a significant difference in particle size. In addition, the particle size variation of samples under different processing conditions can be studied by comparing the measurement results of different samples.
Instrument cleaning and shutdown
Cleaning the sample pool: After the measurement is completed, immediately pour out the sample solution in the sample pool and thoroughly clean the sample pool with deionized water or a suitable solvent. During the cleaning process, a soft bristled brush can be used to gently scrub the inner wall of the sample tank to remove residual sample particles. Then, dry the sample cell with clean nitrogen or air for future use.
Turn off the instrument: Turn off the power of the laser particle size analyzer and follow the instructions in the instrument manual to shut it down. If the instrument is not used for a long time, it is recommended to regularly turn it on for maintenance and upkeep to ensure its performance and stability.
Different models and brands of laser particle size analyzers may have differences in specific operations, so it is important to carefully read the instrument's instructions before use and operate according to the instructions. In addition, regular calibration and maintenance of instruments are also important measures to ensure the accuracy of measurement results.
