Operating standards for low-temperature vacuum test chambers
Date: 2025-10-22Read: 0
The operation of the low-temperature vacuum test chamber should follow six major standards: installation preparation, operating procedures, daily maintenance, safety regulations, environmental requirements, and fault handling. The specific operating standards are as follows:
1、 Installation and preparation
Equipment placement: Place the test chamber on a horizontal and sturdy ground, ensuring a heat dissipation space of ≥ 50cm around, avoiding direct sunlight and strong vibration sources, and keeping away from heat sources and corrosive gas environments.
Power connection: Use a power supply that meets the specifications of the device (it is recommended to configure dedicated circuits and circuit breakers). Before initial use, it should be left to stand for 24 hours (after long-distance transportation), and the power socket should be checked for grounding to ensure stable voltage.
Cleaning inspection: Clean the inner cavity and dry it with a soft cloth to check if the appearance of the equipment is intact, if the components are complete, and if the connections are tight.
2、 Operation process
Power on: Connect the power, press the power switch on the control panel, and the device will enter standby mode.
Parameter settings:
Enter the temperature setting interface and enter the target temperature (such as -30 ℃) and holding time (such as 4 hours).
Complex experiments can use "program settings" to arrange multiple temperature curves.
Start running: After confirming the parameters, click the "Start" button, and the device will automatically execute the cooling program.
Sample placement: After the temperature stabilizes (about 30-40 minutes), quickly place the pre prepared sample to avoid interference with the internal structure of the equipment.
Operation monitoring: Real time monitoring of the situation inside the box through observation windows and display screens to ensure that the temperature remains stable within the set range.
End of experiment: After the automatic alarm prompt, confirm that the temperature has risen to a safe range before taking out the sample.
3、 Daily maintenance
Sealing inspection: Check the sealing of the door seal every week and maintain it with silicone oil if necessary.
Filter cleaning: Clean the condenser filter (air-cooled type) monthly to ensure smooth ventilation.
Electrical inspection: Check the electrical connection terminals for looseness every quarter to prevent poor contact.
Professional maintenance: Every six months, professional personnel check the refrigerant pressure and compressor status to ensure the normal operation of the refrigeration system.
4、 Safety regulations
Item restrictions: It is strictly prohibited to place flammable, explosive, corrosive, or highly volatile items inside the box.
Operation taboos: It is forbidden to frequently open and close the box door during operation to avoid affecting temperature stability and compressor life.
Surface protection: Do not use sharp tools to scratch the surface of the inner container. Neutral cleaning agents should be used when cleaning.
Low temperature protection: When the temperature inside the box is below -20 ℃, direct contact with the inner wall may cause skin frostbite, and protective gloves should be worn.
5、 Environmental requirements
Temperature range: It is recommended to use an ambient temperature of 5 ℃ to 30 ℃ to avoid extreme temperatures affecting equipment performance.
Humidity control: The relative humidity should be ≤ 85% RH (no condensation) to prevent excessive humidity from causing condensation inside the equipment.
6、 Fault handling
Not cooling: Check if the power supply is normal, confirm that the set temperature is lower than the ambient temperature, and check if the condenser is dirty or blocked.
Large temperature fluctuations: Check whether the door seal is tight, whether the sample is excessive, and whether the ambient temperature is too high.
Abnormal alarm: Record the alarm code, refer to the corresponding chapter in the manual, and contact after-sales service.
