As a common agricultural tool, electric spray is widely used to spray pesticides, fertilizers, disinfectants, etc. Due to its complex structure and continuous use, electric spray is prone to some common failures. The following are the maintenance methods for common problems of electric spray:
1、 Common faults and maintenance methods
1. Electric spray does not start
Check the battery or power supply:
If the electric spray is powered by a battery, first check whether the battery is sufficient to ensure sufficient battery power. If the battery level is too low, it needs to be charged or replaced with a new battery.
If the electric spray is connected to the power supply, check whether the power socket and wire connection are normal, and ensure that the power supply is stable.
Poor motor contact:
Check whether the contact between the motor and the power supply is good, and whether the wire connection is firm. If there is any looseness or disconnection, reconnect it.
Switch malfunction:
Check whether the switch of the electric spray is damaged or stuck, clean the switch and ensure its normal operation. If the switch is damaged, consider replacing it.
2. The spray spray unevenly or without fog
Check if the nozzle is blocked:
The most common reason for uneven spray is nozzle blockage. Disassemble the nozzle and rinse it with clean water to ensure that the nozzle is unobstructed. If the nozzle is damaged or deformed, replace it with a new one in a timely manner.
Pipeline blockage:
Uneven spray may also be caused by blockage inside the pipe. Open the pipeline, check for debris or sediment blockage, and clean the pipeline.
Pump malfunction:
The pump of the electric spray may not work properly due to wear or damage. Check the operation status of the pump to ensure smooth rotation. If the pump malfunctions, it may need to be replaced.
3. Insufficient water pressure of spray
Check the pump:
The lack of spray pressure may be due to the decrease of pump efficiency. Check if the pump is working properly, if there are any abnormal noises or unstable operation. If it is a pump malfunction, it may need to be repaired or replaced.
Pipeline or filter blockage:
Blockage of pipe or filter screen may lead to poor water flow, which will affect the spray pressure. Check and clean the pipes and filters.
Liquid ratio issue:
If the concentration of the mixed liquid is too high, the pump may not work properly, affecting the spray pressure. Confirm whether the liquid ratio meets the requirements.
4. Electric spray leaks
Check the sealing of the connection:
Water leakage of electric spray usually occurs at the connection. Check the connection between nozzle, pipe, pump and spray body to confirm whether there is looseness, crack or damage to the sealing ring.
Replace the damaged sealing ring and tighten the connection again.
Check the water tank:
Check for cracks or damage in the water tank, as aging may cause leakage. If there is a problem with the water tank, consider replacing it with a new one.
5. The electric spray has excessive vibration or noise
Check the operation of the motor:
The abnormal vibration or noise of the motor of the electric spray may be caused by a problem inside the motor. Check if the motor is loose or worn, and if necessary, disassemble the motor to inspect the bearings and rotor. If the motor malfunctions, it needs to be repaired or replaced.
Check the operation of the pump:
Wear or looseness may also occur inside the pump, resulting in excessive vibration of the spray during operation. Check all components of the pump to confirm if they are working properly.
6. The battery cannot be charged or is not fully charged
Check the battery contact points:
Is the battery contact point clean? Poor battery contact may result in inability to charge. Clean the battery contact points and ensure good battery contact.
Battery aging:
Battery aging is a common reason why batteries cannot be charged or are not fully charged. You can use a battery voltage tester to check the voltage of the battery and confirm if it needs to be replaced.
Charger malfunction:
If there is no problem with the battery itself, it may be a fault with the charger. Try using another compatible charger to charge and confirm if the problem lies with the charger.
2、 Regular maintenance
Clean the spray regularly:
After each use, clean all parts of the spray in time, especially the nozzle and pipe, to prevent liquid residues from drying up and blocking.
Check battery level:
Regularly check the battery's power status to avoid low or completely depleted battery power when not in use for a long time.
Storage environment:
The electric spray shall be stored in a dry and well ventilated place to avoid damage to electrical components caused by high temperature or humid environment.
Regularly check the working status of the motor and pump:
Conduct a comprehensive inspection once a year, especially for the maintenance of motors and pumps, to ensure their smooth operation.
Through the above repair and maintenance methods, you can extend the service life of the electric spray and improve the work efficiency. If the equipment issue is complex, it is recommended to contact professional maintenance personnel for handling.
