Usage Guide | Streptometer Calibration Instrument

Instructions for use: Please calibrate the extensometer according to the requirements of JJG762-2007 extensometer calibration regulations:

1. The use of extended columns: When using a basic column to calibrate an extensometer, if the gauge space of the extensometer cannot be guaranteed, an extended column should be used. Firstly, remove the protective cap from the basic column, align the extended column with the V-shaped groove of the main column, insert it, and tighten the screw before use.

2. Use of calibration rod: Insert the calibration rod and tighten the fixing screw to ensure that the calibration rod does not move up and down. Adjust the position of the eccentric snap spring on the two measuring arms to ensure that the two separated samples are coaxial before use.

3. How to calibrate an extensometer: Before calibration, if it is found that the current height cannot guarantee the gauge space of the electronic extensometer, the height of the calibration rod should be raised and the position of the eccentric clamp should be readjusted to ensure that the two separated samples are coaxial. Next, fix the electronic extensometer. Due to its relatively simple structure, use a randomly provided rubber band to fix it and adjust the differential head to zero. At the same time, pay attention to the distance between the calibration rods and avoid excessive compression. Finally, calibrate the extensometer by adjusting the differential head.
