How to solve the problem when the colorimetric dish of the UV visible spectrophotometer is found to be contaminated? There are two ways to solve this here:
1、 When using ultrasonic cleaning, if the colorimetric dish is found to be contaminated, a 20W glass instrument can be used for cleaning. Ultrasonic ultrasonic cleaning for half an hour can generally solve the problem. However, special attention should be paid not to use high-power ultrasound to clean the colorimetric dish, otherwise it may damage the colorimetric dish.
2、 When the colorimetric dish is found to be contaminated, it can be cleaned with detergent. But cleaning some colorimetric dishes with detergent cannot solve the problem of contamination. If the colorimetric dish is contaminated by substances with strong adhesion (such as lignin) or highly concentrated samples, and condenses on the transparent surface of the colorimetric dish, cleaning with detergent is not possible.
In addition, it should be noted that metal or hard wooden sticks (such as toothpicks) should not be used to rub the colorimetric dish again, otherwise, it will also damage the transparent surface of the colorimetric dish. It is not yet possible to use tools with easily shedding hair (such as inferior paper, inferior cotton, etc.) to wipe the light receiving surface of the colorimetric dish, otherwise, fine fibers will fall on the light receiving surface of the colorimetric dish, which will also affect the reliability of the analysis and testing data.
