Desktop freeze centrifugeIt is a laboratory equipment that combines high-speed centrifugation and low-temperature control, mainly used to separate heat sensitive samples and prevent their degradation. It separates samples by driving the rotor to rotate and generate centrifugal force through a motor, while the refrigeration system maintains a low-temperature environment. This type of equipment is widely used in fields such as molecular biology, medical testing, pharmaceuticals, and food chemistry, such as DNA extraction, protein separation, and blood processing. The core configuration typically includes a stainless steel centrifugal chamber, an imported refrigeration system, and multiple safety mechanisms such as electronic locks and imbalance detection.
The core of operating a desktop freeze centrifuge is balance, parameters, and safety. Follow this process:
1. Startup and Inspection
Connect the power and turn on the instrument switch. Press the [open] key to open the hood and check if the rotor is securely installed and there are no foreign objects inside the cavity. If low temperature is required, start the refrigeration pre cooling to the set temperature in advance.
2. Loading samples
Place the centrifuge tube symmetrically into the rotor, with an equal amount of sample inside the tube (weight error ≤ 1.5g). Tighten the pipe cover and secure the rotor cover. This is the key to preventing vibration and leakage.
3. Set parameters
Set the speed, time, and temperature through the control panel. Always comply with the rated limits of the rotor and centrifuge tube, and strictly prohibit overspeed or overload operation. Modern devices typically have program storage capabilities that can save commonly used settings.
4. Startup and Monitoring
Close the hood and ensure it is securely locked. Press the [start] button to start and observe if the speed steadily increases, and if there are any abnormal noises or vibrations. Do not open the hood or touch the rotor during operation.
5. Ending and Cleaning
After centrifugation is complete and the rotor has come to a complete stop, press the [open] key to open the hood. Take out the sample, clean the condensed water in a timely manner, and wipe the rotor and cavity with a neutral cleaner. Finally, turn off the power and record usage.
