1Emerson power unitSafety Specifications
Operation qualification: Only personnel who have received professional training are allowed to install, debug, and maintain Emerson power units, ensuring that operators are familiar with high-voltage and alternating current operation specifications.
High voltage warning: Some components of the equipment are under high voltage during operation, and direct contact or indirect contact through damp objects may pose a fatal danger. Before operation, it is necessary to confirm that the power supply is completely disconnected and wait for the charging indicator light to turn off or the bus voltage to drop below 36V.
Anti static measures: Wear an anti-static wrist strap before coming into contact with the equipment, and ground the other end well to prevent human static electricity from damaging sensitive components on the circuit board (such as large-scale integrated circuits).
Environmental requirements: It is prohibited to use equipment in damp, explosive gas, conductive dust, or strong electromagnetic field interference environments. If water or moisture is found in the cabinet, immediately turn off the power.
2、 Installation and wiring
Installation location:
The control cabinet should be installed on the wall next to the unit. If there is no wall, a self-made bracket is required to ensure that the installation position is no more than 3 meters away from the unit fan section, and the height is based on the operating interface (1.4-1.5 meters).
The factory standard wiring is 3 meters. If the distance exceeds 3 meters, users need to solve the problem of extending the wiring themselves.
Wiring steps:
Connect the power supply incoming line, grounding wire, and other wires according to the electrical schematic diagram, electrical wiring diagram, and accompanying accessories.
If the control cabinet contains BA dry contacts, users need to provide their own cables, and it is recommended to use wires with a diameter of 0.75mm ².
Signal lines should be tied separately from high current or high voltage lines, with a minimum binding distance of 150mm.
Safety signs:
Hang signs on prohibited switches and buttons to prevent accidental operation.
During battery handling, the electrode should be kept facing upwards and it is strictly prohibited to invert or tilt it.
3、 Operation process
Pre startup inspection:
Confirm that the equipment model and rated value are consistent with the ordering requirements, and check whether the product is damaged.
Check the electrolyte level (if applicable) and add distilled water promptly when it approaches the lower limit.
Startup steps:
Connect the power and start the self-test program (the self-test time depends on the model).
Observe the pointer of the output pressure gauge and adjust it to the required value after the pressure is stable.
Set parameters (such as frequency, speed setpoint, etc.) through the touch screen or controller, and confirm the device's operating status.
Operation monitoring:
Continuously observe key parameters such as pressure and flow rate to ensure they are within normal ranges.
Regularly check the purity of electrolyte and equipment temperature to avoid overheating or electrolyte failure.
Shutdown steps:
Stop using gas equipment first (if applicable), and then turn off the power unit.
Open the drain valve to discharge the residual liquid, clean the surface of the equipment, and reinstall the filter.
4、 Maintenance and upkeep
Daily maintenance:
Check the electrolyte level and equipment operation status daily.
Clean the filter and air connection components weekly.
Regular maintenance:
Replace the electrolyte and desiccant (such as color changing silica gel) every 3-6 months.
Check the insulation performance and grounding resistance of the equipment once a year.
Fault handling:
Common problems: abnormal pressure, insufficient flow, electrolyte failure, etc.
resolvent:
Check if there is any air leakage in the gas circuit connection and use leak detection fluid to inspect the joint.
Replace the desiccant or filter element to maintain hydrogen purity.
Contact the manufacturer to replace the electrolytic cell or power module (if the equipment alarms or fails to start).
5、 Precautions
Battery operation:
The voltage at the back end of the battery connection will exceed 400Vdc, and insulated gloves and protective aprons should be worn during operation.
Do not place batteries in fire to prevent explosions that may endanger personal safety.
Lightning protection measures:
Equipment grounding should be done well during thunderstorms to avoid damage from lightning strikes.
