Explosion proof laser rangefinder is a laser rangefinder device designed for flammable and explosive environments
Date: 2025-07-23Read: 58
Explosion proof laser rangefinder is a distance measuring device designed for flammable and explosive environments such as petrochemicals, mines, etc. It measures the distance to the target by emitting laser and calculating the round-trip time difference of the beam, with an error of only 1/5 to 1/hundreds of other optical rangefinders.
The core principle of explosion-proof laser rangefinder is based on the constant propagation speed of light, which calculates the distance by measuring the time difference between laser emission and reception. Its explosion-proof design is mainly achieved through intrinsic safety circuits and explosion-proof enclosures, ensuring safe operation in hazardous environments.
The laser rangefinder emits a laser beam to the target object and calculates the distance by measuring the round-trip time of the laser. Due to the difficulty of directly measuring time, modulation signal phase difference or pulse measurement is usually used, and the actual distance is calculated using the speed of light and atmospheric refractive index.
feature
High precision measurement: The error is only one-fifth to one hundredth of other optical rangefinders, and it can achieve millimeter level measurement accuracy.
Suitable for scenarios that require high-precision measurement, such as terrain measurement, aircraft ranging, etc.
Explosion proof design: Adopting explosion-proof shell and explosion-proof circuit design, it can work safely in environments containing explosive gases or dust. Complies with relevant explosion-proof standards.
Non contact measurement: using laser for distance measurement, without the need for contact with the measured object, avoiding the safety hazards that traditional measurement methods may bring.
Suitable for measuring the distance of objects in difficult to reach or dangerous areas.
Multi functional integration: Some explosion-proof laser rangefinders also have functions such as telescopes, data storage, automatic laser shutdown, and instrument shutdown.
Capable of measuring parameters such as distance, height, area, and volume of targets to meet diverse measurement needs.
Easy to operate:
Small size, light weight, simple operation, fast and accurate speed.
Usually equipped with an intuitive operating interface and an easy to read data display screen, making it convenient for users to use.
