Videometer, headquartered in Denmark, is a high-tech company specializing in spectral imaging, automatic visual measurement, and quality monitoring. It develops high-performance visual imaging systems for multiple industrial fields, and its products are widely used in plant phenotype research, seed phenotype omics research, seed resource library, ecological research, and food monitoring such as inspection and scientific research of meat, seafood, vegetables, fruits, and yogurt. The field of seafood and food is also a key area of research. Spectral imaging technology and equipment are widely used for precise measurements of texture, color, morphology, gloss, shape, and surface chemistry. At present, the company's multispectral phenotype imaging products include VideometerLab 4 desktop multispectral imaging platform, VideometerLab Mini, Videometer SeedLab seed inspection and phenotype platform, portable multispectral imaging system Videometer Lite, VideometerLab 500 large imaging area multispectral imaging platform, VideometerMic microscopic multispectral imaging platform, VideometerMR root multispectral imaging system, VideometerLiq solid and liquid dual-use multispectral imaging analysis platform (multispectral liquid stability analyzer), VideometerMiniLiq portable multispectral liquid stability analyzer, VideometerLab UV multispectral imaging system, VideometerLab XY high-throughput particle multispectral imaging system, etc.

At present, articles using its equipment for research have been published in various journals such as Nature. Researchers have published nearly 400 articles using Videometer equipment, and have published multiple articles in journals such as Food Chemistry since the beginning of this year. flagship productVideometer LabEquipped with various optional accessories, suitable for various fields such as plant phenotype omics, seed phenotype omics, botany, germplasm resource bank construction, seed science, food, etc.
At the Videometer Q2 Global Partner Summit in early June, Videometer headquarters provided a detailed introduction to this year's exhibition plans and product upgrade plans.
Videometer will continue the Webinar conference on multispectral imaging systems. The person in charge provided a detailed introduction to the latest research and development progress, cloud data services, and various seed databases. New products such as VideometerLab Mini, VideometerMR, Videometer Lite, and Videometer MiniLiq can all be analyzed in the cloud, greatly facilitating on-site and field applications. Videometer has also launched a large imaging area field phenotype imaging system. The portable multispectral imaging system has added multiple bands such as ultraviolet, and currently has up to 11 bands, providing more possibilities for band exploration, such as using ultraviolet bands to study meat and seafood.

High throughput microscopy multispectral imaging system
VideometerLab Mini is a high-throughput microscopic multispectral phenotype imaging system, which is a breakthrough system for indoor high-throughput microscopic measurement. It can be used for fine particles (such as grass seeds or Arabidopsis thaliana) or small-sized samples (0.1-2mm samples), and the system can perform fast and accurate spectral image analysis. The system adopts * technology, which can be used for measuring the surface color, texture, and chemical composition of samples. The measured sample diameter can reach, and the imaging area can reach 3X3cm. Videometer Lite adopts an LED strobe light source system, effectively combining 19 wavelength measurements (wavelengths can be customized and added), and generating a fused spectral image that integrates spectra, with each pixel corresponding to a different reflection spectrum. This device includes visible light and NIR near-infrared bands, used for precise and comprehensive quality inspection of food, seeds, and so on.
ISTA Annual Meeting
At the just held ISTA annual meeting, experts introduced the application of Videometer multispectral imaging technology in seed purity and germination fields. ISTA has begun to accept the application of automated image processing technology in seed detection.
