1、 Preparation before the experiment
1. Sample preparation
Ensure that the surface of the test sample is flat and smooth.
According to the reference table for sample types (metal alloys, ceramics, polymers, etc.)1Preliminary estimation of thermal conductivity range.
2. Instrument connection and preheating
Connect the power cord of the host and use a data cable to connect to the computer.
Rotate the power knob counterclockwise to the end and turn on the power of the host.
Preheat the host30Minutes, during which no operation is performed.
3. Software installation and startup
If not installed, pressV. Software Installation Instructions "Install the upper computer software.
Double click the desktop shortcut to start the software, then clickSettings-Communication connection ", ensure that the status bar displays" connection successful ".
2、 Instrument parameter settings
1. Select probe model
Click on the main interface and select the probe based on the estimated thermal conductivity
thermal conductivity ≤0.2 W/(m·K)→ Use1Number probe
thermal conductivity > 0.2 W/(m·K)→ Use2Number probe
Record the probe resistance and click [OK] to return.
2. Set measurement time
Click on 'Set Time' and refer to the material type reference table1Select time(5SThe10SThe40SThe160S).
Click [OK】Confirm.
3. Adjust power
Reference Table1Rotate the power knob to adjust the recommended power of the corresponding material to the corresponding value.
Note:1The power of the probe does not exceed0.4W,2Number probe not exceeding14W.
4. Adjustment benchmark
Click on 'Adjust Benchmark' and adjust the benchmark value based on the selected testing time:
160S→0.02-0.03
40S→0.03-0.05
10S→0.05-0.07
5S→0.07-0.10
3、 Sample installation and pre testing
1. Install samples and probes
Place the probe between two samples and press it tightly with a spring holder to ensure that the probe is centered on the sample.
2. Pre testing (determining actual parameters)
use2Probe number, time set to160SAdjust the power to the minimum.
clickPress the 'Calculate' button after the 'Probe Resistance' button until the resistance stabilizes.
Enter the probe resistance and power in the softwareTCRValue(1Number probe0.009,2Number probe0.005).
clickStart drawing "for pre testing, the host buzzer sounds to indicate that data transmission is complete.
Confirm the final probe model and parameters based on the pre-test results.
4、 Formal testing
1. Start measurement
Confirm that all parameters are correct in the software.
clickStart Drawing "or toolbar" Start "icon.
The host automatically collects data, and the data upload is completed after the buzzer sounds.
2. data processing
clickEnd drawing to stop testing.
clickData Analysis-Thermal conductivity ", automatically calculated and displayed by the software (waiting for a few seconds to minutes).
3. Save data
clickFile-Save ", set the file name and path, and the data will be saved.txtand.xlsxFormat saving.
5、 Test completion and cleaning
1. Close software and host
clickFile-Exit to close the software.
Turn the power knob of the host counterclockwise to the bottom and turn off the power.
2. Probe and sample disassembly
Carefully remove the probe, clean and store in a dry place.
6、 Precautions
Probe protection:
It is strictly prohibited to test the probe with electricity when it is not in contact with the sample.
The power shall not exceed the rated upper limit of the probe.
The power knob should be adjusted to the minimum before and after testing.
Experimental interval:
The interval between two consecutive experiments shall not be less than5minute.
The software should run continuously for no more than3Hour, timeout requires restart.
