Most of the work done by people on the construction site is done by manual operation. This determines that hands are often in danger. The safety protection of opponents mainly relies on gloves. When using protective gloves, it is necessary to analyze the workpiece, equipment, and operation situation, and select gloves made of appropriate materials that are easy to operate in order to provide protection. But for tasks that require fine tuning. Wearing protective gloves is not easy to operate, especially for operators near drilling machines, milling machines, and conveyors, as well as in areas with squeezing hazards. There are several types of protective gloves commonly used on power construction sites:
(1) Labor protection gloves. These gloves have the function of protecting hands and arms, and operators generally use them when working.
(2) Insulated gloves for live working. Choose appropriate gloves based on voltage, check for surface defects such as cracks, stickiness, and brittleness, and prohibit use if there are any abnormalities.
(3) Acid and alkali resistant gloves. Gloves mainly used for contact with acids and alkalis.
(4) Rubber oil resistant gloves. Gloves mainly used for various solvent operations involving mineral oil, vegetable oil, and fat clusters.
(5) Welding gloves. The protective gloves worn during electrical and welding work should be checked for stiffness, thinness, holes, and other defects on the surface of the leather or canvas. If there are defects, they are not allowed to be used. Gloves should have sufficient length and the wrist should not be exposed on the outside.
